New releases: What Are You Buying/Post your buys

So after discussion with other members of this board, it seemed like it was time to start a thread where we can discuss new releases and post what we plan to buy or what we have bought (maybe include photos if you want). This can also serve as a recommendations if you are looking for something new but are unsure on what.

Each month somebody (probably myself to start with unless there are any volunteers?) will post the new releases for that month in this thread. Just remember to follow the Game Discussion board rules and be friendly and feel free to chat about what you are buying and what is being released basically (and as I say, if you want to post photos of items you have bought please do so as long as its not breaking any Gamespot rules).

I have purchased Titanfall on XB1 and Dark souls II on 360. Both games are definite AAA titles. So far most of my time has been taken up with Dark Souls II, I can't seem to put it down.

Going to buy Bravely Default today. :)

Out of that month probably nothing, but did pick up Professor Layton VS Phoenix Wright (3DS) last Friday

Is anyone else looking to pick up Conception 2? I have never played the first one but I am just looking for something interesting to play on my 3DS. I know the premise of the game looks kind of messed up but I enjoy playing strange games with different genres to what I usually play. Not sure if it will just be a standard JRPG with a dating sim tacked on but i reckon it could be good for a laugh!

I picked up another Atlus game, Catherine a few years ago on a wim and it is still one of the most interesting games I have ever played.

@Garfield360UK: Child of Light is the only game of interest to me.

So, did anybody pick up Goat Simulator?

I didn't, but i did pick up:

Dragonball Z Budokai HD, Final Fantasy X HD, FIFA 13, Red Dead Redemption and Assassin's Creed Liberation

I just bought Gran Turismo 6, which I usually wait for games to drop in price a bit because games just aren't worth the money to me anymore, sure their graphics are the best ever but that doesn't make a good game to me. GT6 was a big mistake, I'll be posting my review on that as soon as that part of Gamespot will recognize the fact I HAVE logged in. Sheesh.

If you are having problems with your Gamespot account still, I recommend going to the technical support page or messaging the moderator team who can put you in contact with the community managers to see if the said issues can be resolved.

On a personal level, I may give Dark Souls 2 on PC a look as a few friends are getting it there and thus I will want to play it with them no doubt. Maybe I will give Goat Simulator a look but I am 50/50 over paying full price or waiting for a Steam Sale/Humble Bundle.

Oh yea lol. Well that and also there's not a lot of good or interesting titles coming out this year. I mean last year had GTA 5, Tomb Raider, Dead Space 3, DmC, Battlefield 4 etc. This year it looks pretty bare, I might check out Titanfall, it looks like CoD and I only play CoD for zombies.

TEW I'm looking forward to because Shinji Mikami and Alien because I heard they made it like Slender or Amnesia which I never played but heard they were good horror games and it's just one alien so it should be interesting.

@Ducati996R: I agree with you there, I'm going to be catching up on a couple CoD titles I passed on earlier and hope something unexpected pops out there.

I have a lot of games that i look forward to this year. Dragon Age has to me my number 1

April 29th also has Daylight on PS4 and PC. I'll be downloading that, FF14: ARR, and Child of Light.

I'm probably going to pick it up as soon as I get my next paycheck. Looks like good, dumb fun.

Only other thing I'll likely buy this month is Child of Light. Really want to get Dark Souls 2 on PC -- got a lot of friends getting that version -- but I'm probably going to end up waiting for a sale. Need to buy a dedicated controller for my PC first, plus I've got a trip to save up for, so...

Really want to buy Titanfall, but also really want to save money. AHHHH

I have Watch Dogs pre-ordered, so I'm just happily waiting until May 27th to get it and play it.

I got Ninja Gaiden Black new for cheap and the Prima strategy guide for it used. My next strategy guide purchase is going to most likely be for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Legendary Edition

A friend of mine has been trying to convince me to pick up Child Of Light. I may pick it up for 360 or PS4, haven't decided yet. Meanwhile, I am looking forward to checking out The Amazing Spiderman 2 for PS4. It's been a long time since I played a good Spiderman game and from the looks of it, it may turn out to be a good one!

I got a few games.

Recently I picked up AC4, Batman Origins, Thief and Dark souls 1 (figured I'd try it out before buying 2). And this month I bought a Tomb raider PC bundle (9 games) and the 2013 version for xbox. I'm really trying to slow myself down as I seem to be in a habit of buying games faster than I can play them. I've recently looked at a new RPG 'Bound by Flame' which I'm interested in buying next.

I'm thinking of pre-ordering Batman Arkham Knight and Dragon Age Inquisition when I get paid.

I have pre- ordered "Wolfenstein: The new order" and " Mario Kart 8"

Im also looking forward to; Super Smash Bros for 3DS and WiiU. Gonna buy " Skylanders: Trap Team" for PS4 and Disney Infinity 2 for WiiU...and a lot more i dont remember ;)

I'm originally working on buying my husband Call of Duty: Black Ops II since someone stole his game. After I'll be working on:

- Call of Duty: Ghosts

- Uncharted I

- Uncharted II

- Kingdom Hearts 5

Hopefully more in the future. I have Uncharted : Drake's Deception and beat the game, took me a week to beat it. (:

I just got the Star Wars 2014 Collection on Steam.

Now, I can finally beat Dark Forces, install mods for Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2; and play the others which I did not get around to or lacked the opportunity for in the past.
