@cyanicember:

Gamespot isn't going to pay someone to spend 30 hours on a game that's not worth 1 hour of that time. Sorry, not everyone is a princess and not every p.o.s game deserves the reviewer's grinding and ball busting for a crappy product. If anything he spent too much tiem on it and rated it too high

Great Review!!! If you could rate it any lower, you should have.

This game is truly terrible. Do Not buy it. I can't believe someone would need to spend 2 years in game to even be able to play it.

The Forest had building, harvesting, and survival elements, but someone how it not suck as hard as this game.

Im happy I realized this game was a complete rip off just from 2 hours of gameplay so I was able to get my $19 refund. And this game wasn't even worth this much.

You wouldn't believe at how terribly everything in this game is made, how clunky and buggy the menu is, how poor the gamepad support is, how bad the survival system is.

I mean even if you run around and do nothing but eat berries at start you still starve to death. What do you need to eat to become full, like 10000 berries.

Even No Man's Sky was playable when it came out, I would rather spend hours doing pointless tasks in an alpha version of no mans sky.

I can't believe people are not outraged by this game at all, at least no mans sky was playable.

Here's the thing about the game, it's not a game. Its a medieval simulator. Its supposed to not be fun. Its not supposed to be easy. Life sucked back them. Fighting sucks. Dying sucks. So how do you make it fun, go get yourself a trainer, and enjoy the game with infinite health. Its worth it. If you try to get more than half way though without it, you will give up. The game forces you to give up. Fighting an armored enemy and having to stab him 50 times in the face just for him to go down is the definition of a bad game. But the developers try to make a point, and that point is "f*k you, you don't decide how we make a game".

As far as the bugs go, the quests have to be mostly done EXACTLY the way the devs intended, without any instructions. Which makes most side quests not even worth trying. Seriously, if someone asks you to find something, or to make something, immediately turn it down. Otherwise the next thing you will have to do is play the broken potion-making minigame, which fails if you dont press on something at the exact time, or try lockpicking, which is basically harder than it is in real life.

I think the developer went overboard with trying to make a Czech witcher 3, when they should have focused on making a Witcher 1 and 2 before they tackled something with such massive scale. Its not an issue of size, but of resources. You dont need to let people do everything possible, just make the general storyline playable, and then add the extra crap

@sinistery: I have to add, for the amount of art development time that went into the game, the programming of rope is just bad, they didn't even bother making it look like it doesn't go through rocks

I cant figure out how to switch the aiming view so the character is on the right side of the camera!! Because, who.t.f. shoots their bow from their left shoulder besides Lars Andersen? Seriously? This makes the game controls feel as awkward as dead space!!. If someone knows how to do this please let me know, before I have to write a review bashing all the stupidity that comes with this game, and toss in a review about all the subliminal feminism, supplemented by bad characters and acting that makes it a real period piece. Thanks
