@lostn: There not killing it,they make ps5 back compatible with ps4 so migration of your games is easy,and even if sony first party stops,3rd party will be making games for years with that install base of 80 million,look your get games made for ps4 and ps5,the technical hurdle is not here yet

@RaveNRolla: There a huge install base,yes there have to support it for years.all those online games being released now next year,even ps5 will have to be backward compatible,what they going to do tell everyone to leave all there ps4 games behind that you just brought,and start again,,i dont think so

@livedreamplay: There no way it going launch 2021,if they saying ps4 coming to an end now,,your get another year of first party support 2019,a ps5 reveal E3 next year,and either a launch holiday 2019 or latest 2020,even so they will support ps4 for a long time anyway,and i know there be making ps5 back compatible with ps4,there have no choice,unless they want to loose that huge install base
