Not every multiplayer game needs to be for "hardcore" players no more then every rpg being just like the Dark Souls series. Star Wars as always in every form it takes been for people of all ages. With that said, Battlefront is not perfect, it's still pretty fun. It does a very good job of looking and and feeling like star wars, but the gameplay can get old real fast, hopefully some of the future dlc adds more modes, maybe even a re-haul of the customizations, particularly the appearance section.
Some cool games, i've been wanting to play Thief for a while now but missed it every time it went on sale, definitely going to get that, and Van Helsing. I don't know much about Sacred3 but i'll grab it while I can
@Fia1: True, I agree with you but were also talking games, and what people find enjoyable. I like different stuff then you which is also different from the other guy, and my neighbor. Its why we have multiple consoles, genres of games. So just because someone found battlefront to be a masterpiece, who cares? II'l discuss the "game", not the opinion that someone has of said game. Mainly because it's non of my business why someone likes what they like for whatever reason they want.
With that said I find most of the complaints toward battlefront can be directed to "any" online mutiplayer only game (ie...evolve) or multiplayer add-on to a also single player game. I think it's based on 2 things...1- it's a star wars game, big shoes to fill, 2-it's battlefront, an established fan fav series and has even bigger shoes to fill.
@planarshepard: What games found to be masterpieces by individual gamers is subjective and will be different to everyone. GamerOuTLaWzz found Battlerfront to be a masterpiece based on his personal set rules for a game to achieve. It dosen't make him any less objective than you, it just means you guys like different stuff, he apparently really likes Battlefront. On a side note, so do I
