when graphics fidelity is reached to a ultra high level, no one is going to care about graphcis anymore, but art style. this is already happening with current gen. art style/art direction will win everytime.
i didnt understand most of what you just said, but i'm happy for you! i like playing on the couch, so i play on consoles, interested in the steam box concept though.
I don't know why I feel Like Nintendo is trying to shuv something big up my backside, excuse the expression. Tom is right, hardcore Nintendo fans are blind to the fact that they don't make as good games as they used to, it is nostalgia that pulls on the heart strings of their fans. I fell for the trap, I wanted to believe, I wanted to love again my first love, I went and bought a wii u, after not purchasing a Nintendo console for 15years. Now I feel like selling it, I played new super Mario, and thought it was an insult, it was the same game I played 15 years ago, with the same levels and enemies a stark contrast to the rayman legends demo, bringing creativity, beauty and innovation to side scrolling platforming.
@DarkLink77 @G-Force07 I felt exactly the same after I played the demo, boring, I tried the demo for dead nations and loved it then bought the full game, what a great choice that was, but journey was just boring.mmthey should make a new category for games for GOTY "best art house game" so thus mistake doesn't happen again. The last time I checked ign people choice award, journey wasn't even on the list. You have to understand that these editors whom play games as a job, live it when something new comes along like journey, they okay so many games, good and bad and it's not their choice.
