@mjonk2pc: Your comparison was silly .... Xbox One S is a good improvement over the original; slightly more horsepower, 4k upscaling and a UHD drive. Scorpio adds an immense amount of grunt over the One S and can display games in native 4k. On the other hand, the PS4 slim actually has less connection options than the original - they removed the optical port. The pro has the same CPU as the original PS4, the same memory and is using the same drive as the PS3! You may not need value physical media, but unless you have a stable 20mbps connection and a Netflix account you won't watch any 4k media on your new investment, and even then the picture quality is horribly compressed. I still buy big name films on bluray because the difference in quality over streaming is night and day.
@livedreamplay: Absolutely - the majority went for a PlayStation ... again. It's the leading brand, and for 3 generations it has outsold the Xbox. But you said "Xbox has been a disappointment for gamers since launch." which is simply not true. For some? Definitely - but the same can be said about PS4. For every Xbox owner who would love to see Uncharted or Bloodborne on their console, there's a PS4 owner who would love Forza or Halo. I know when a console is a disappointment for gamers - I was one of the few who invested in an imported 3DO back in the day, and that console was a huge disappointment... You could assume that there are more gamers who prefer PS4 exclusives to Xbox's - that would make sense, but apart from the handful of exclusives that each console has, there's no reason to think that Xbox has been a disappointment for gamers.
@notchedbandit: I was obviously joking, considering how hyperbole your metaphor was. By your logic, PS4 has "Almost" no exclusives to offer either considering most of them that I have apart from Bloodborne and Uncharted were either distinctly average, overhyped or plain awful. No Man's Sky, The Order and Last Guardian spring to mind.
@gameoftrolls: Yeah, I know about the PC games you mentioned. I also know that I got sick of hackers. And aimbots. And unpopulated servers. And OS crashes. And memory leaks. And updates. Oh god I got tired of updates to W10.
@adungy: We've been over this. PC gamers are a very different group from console gamers. Each group looks puzzled when faced with the other's choice, and there are very few console gamers who would get back into PC gaming. Console gamers like the comfort, ease of use and don't mind paying for less hackers and populated servers, while PC gamers want the best graphical experience available.
