I like playing offense and super simming the defense, will I still get XP on connected careers mode?

I just beat Red dead redemption in 2 days and I need a game that can last me a while. Looking for a rpg and I am under a budget. I have these three games in mind
Fall out 3
Star ocean
Elder Scrolls Oblivion
I am leaning more twords star ocean.
I already have mass effect 2 for pc but have thought about getting it for 360 because my comp is slow.
Also I have thought about Dragon Age Origins.
What do you people think about those games?

I see where people didn't like Star Ocean, but I really liked it. If it was me I'd go for that. More traditional of an RPG plus it's developed by Square Enix...can't go wrong in my book. Plus when it comes to Fallout its just my opinion but I don't like Action RPGs, Oblivion was alright I actually didn't mind that one so much from Bethesda. Haven't played Dragon Age Origins yet but I here up and down opinions on it so I'll just have to try it myself. But I'd still go with Star Ocean.
Does star Ocean offer over 60 hours of gameplay? I really want to get Star Ocean but I heard people don't like it. You sound like the person with the same taste as me so hopefully I will enjoy it as you did.

Okay I just bought another 360 after months of not having one. It came with Red dead Redemption which I somehow beat in a two days. I was disapointed about how long the game lasted considering it was the first time i ever played the game. After beating the game I realized I needed to get an RPG that would actually take a while to beat. So far I have looked at possibly three games. I am on a budget so anything over 29.99 is a reach right now.
The Rpgs I am considering are
Star Ocean
Fall out 3
Elder Scrolls Oblivion
Which of the three would you suggest and if there are any other Rpgs what would you suggest?
Right now I am leaning twords Star Ocean.
Well what games besides Call Of duty have I missed out on. Borderlands was the last game I had before I sold my xbox so I know I have missed out on quiet a bit of games. Also I am trying to make a list of games to consider to play. there have been many games to come out and theres always those games that don't get a lot of media hype that I don't know about. I like shooting games, RPGS and will play adventure games if they are good. I dont like racing games. Also whats up with the Kinect? whats it all about and are there any games worth getting yet?
I almost forgot. After I sold my xbox I did get to play Red Dead Redemption which was a pretty good game and with the new zombie add on game I am pretty confident in buying it.
BTW I plan on using game fly for a few months to save money and be able to play all the games I missed out on.
And thanks for your advice, I know I could look around and read stuff here but I would like to hear peoples opinions.
I hate you for making me read through all that text :(
Haha naw i just jk :P
Anyways, the new Xbox 360 Slim has built-in wireless just like the PS3, so you don't need to worry about that. As for what console to get, that's entirely up to you, i could sit here for ages telling you the Pros and Cons but it all comes down to you.
I couldn't pick over either console, so i just ended up getting both :3
BattleSpectre
I wish you would tell me the pros and cons. I know everything about both systems up until 8 months ago, I don't know much about the new xbox 360 though other than it has built in wireless and is slim. It still doesn't have blu ray does it?
