A new rainbow six would be kinda if-fy if i was a developer, because they can't make third Vegas they'd be abussing the idea...and a brand new setting might be enough to screw over the momentum they had with the vegas series.

Agreed, a new Rainbow Six wouldn't be the best idea right now. Especially Vegas, that one has ran its course. Maybe next year with a new setting, but for now the only Tom Clancy game they should focus on is getting the new Splinter Cell done and out. Possibly a new Ghost Recon, haven't seen one of those in awhile.
I hope they make six total.
I want to play Rainbox six 6.

I don't like R6V... This was a joke. I thought that Rainbow six 6 sounded almost redundant and a bit silly. I guess it wasn't funny.Ubisoft, earlier this year, mentioned something that they are planning on working on a new Rainbow Six title (along with a new Ghost Recon game). They may give us a teaser at E3, but don't expect this game anytime before 2010.

They should just rehash the series like many game names before it, and just call it Rainbow Six.
Place it in urban environments across the Six nations represented in Rainbow Six, NYC, London, etc, make some ridiculous plot about a "bad" nation having a weapon of mass destruction planning to unleash upon these nations.
Now we have our new Rainbow Six game!
There is going to be a new Ghost Recon its just been delayed till next year, if you pick upSplinter Cell Conviction there is an invite for the beta (when its ready)
Rainbow 666: Devil Spear Whatever they do, I hope they assign the left trigger to aiming and LB to take coverI hope they make six total.
I want to play Rainbox six 6.

No. What made R6Vegas great was the gameplay, not the setting. Who cares where the next one will take place, and it's not like changing the setting will 'screw over' anything.A new rainbow six would be kinda if-fy if i was a developer, because they can't make third Vegas they'd be abussing the idea...and a brand new setting might be enough to screw over the momentum they had with the vegas series.

I would love to see a new R6. I just hope they don't go all COD with the controls. I have always preferred using the sticks to crouch and scope, just feels more natural. IMO
I'd love to see another, but in a different setting.
If they really want to reboot the series, maybe go back to its roots in terms of subject matter. New blood coming in to learn the ropes and has to re-enact major terrorist events from the 70s and 80s as well as scenarios that really focus on CQB, room clearing and a healthy dose of hostage rescue.
But hey, that's just me
