Good. This will clear up those butthurt people out of the BF3 community. EA has the license and if they have a resource that can hinder their competitor, then of course they're going to use it, and in this case not use it :) It's business. Get over it.

I have a few friends getting the PS3 version but I don't really know anyone getting the PC version but I will most likely still settle for the PC version. I played BC2 a bit with friends and it's not like it boosted the fun I had significantly. I'm sure the superior graphics and much higher player count and stability will more than make up for it :)

[QUOTE="kingfire11"]1. No mods. - Yeah this part sucks but I'll live 2. Origin - Origin isn't great, nowhere near as good as Steam but it's usable. 3. Tons of DLC. (because again, no mods!) - Could be like BC2 where they gave a good amount of free DLC albeit a lot of it being Map mode changes. 4. No server browser. - Wrong And hermits call this a PC game? lolz. This is as consolized as CoD.

My turn: 1. Better graphics (of course) 2. 2.5x the console player cap (64 players vs a meager 24) 3. Better destruction and animations. 4. (Most likely) larger player base.

[QUOTE="Wasdie"]

No in-game server browser? What the hell...

sethman410

I think there is. It was confirmed couple days ago that consoles will have it. So, it just doesn't sound right if the PC doesn't have it. 90% sure there is one.

EDIT: Im talking about server list, where you can choose games and filter the type of modes and such. If that's not in-game server browser, what is it then?

Where you switch servers in the actual game. Apparently you have to launch the servers from Battlelog, and that would make it an external server browser.

[QUOTE="The_Pacific"]The only thing that upsets me about BF3 is their online shafting pass. Its the reason i'm not getting it.

DICE and EA will miss this lost used game sale.

I saw that there was a similar thread on Modern Warfare 2 shortly prior to release, so why not one for the hugely anticipated Modern Warfare 3?

On November 8th, the biggest entertainment release of the year (and possibly of all time) will take place; the important question is, what will you do in order to get to play it?

Me myself, I haven't personally decided yet, but I believe that I may take a few days off. In my opinion, I think that as gamers it's our duty to commit our lives entirely to gaming, especially when it comes to such an important game and release. This, as I see it, is more than just a game launch; I think that it should be a day all gamers celebrate, whether we own a Wii, Xbox 360, PS3 or a PC. I think we should hold hands that day, and just enjoy ourselves with one of the most gratifying experiences that entertainment can offer.

Lol no. Just... no.

Really? that makes little to no sense.

1.It has been confirmed even by Cows that uncharted 3 actually looks worse then uncharted 2.
2.with no confirmation that triple layer blurays will even work on the ps3 just theoretically they will I doubt this will ship on a triple layer bluray.
3.Naughty dog has said some down right bone headed things in the past all sourced from the fact they are 1st party.

All leads me to take anything they say with a major grain of salt...mutiple handfuls of it.

WilliamRLBaker

1. No. No it wasn't. 2. What does that have to do with anything? 3. Such as? Please fully support your argument if you're going to try and trash on UC3.

Guild Wars 2, Uncharted 3, Battlefield 3, Diablo 3. That's probably all I'll preorder.
