I probably won't buy the WiiU but I'm not ready to call it dead on arrival. Let it play and see how it does. What the hell good does it do to call it a failure before you even get your hands on it?

Umm, this game takes place after the apocalypse. Besides the light bulbs, you might also notice that one of the people in the church is wearing a black knit cap. The priests robes might throw you off, but the game is set after the present day world has ended.

@ilantis Those games will have the same problem. Especially Mass Effect 3. The earlier entries affect what happens in 3. They'll probably have an interactive comic that will get Wii U users up to speed, but at this point anyone who was interested in the series has probably found a way to play it.

Easy: It wouldn't sell enough on the Wii U. I'm sure there would be some people that would pick it up, but not close to the numbers the publisher is looking for. No one who has played the first two games has played them on a Nintendo console. Speaking from personal experience, there's a tendency to stick with the console you started on. Meaning if you started the series on the PS3/Xbox/PC, you aren't likely to buy the third installment on the Wii U. Also, Nintendo users don't have any vested interest in the series. A user that only has a Wii console to game with will be coming into the series without any attachment to the story or its characters. So the pool of interested buyers gets even smaller.

Could be fun. I'd like a fun SW game that didn't rely on force powers and lightsabers. This might not be the game to do it, but I'll give it a fair shake.

@Suaron_x Everyone gets their own loot. If you open a loot chest for your group of four players, each one of the four players gets their own loot. No one needs to compete for anything.

I'm not counting on ever using the real money AH. I'll leave it to the people with nothing better to do. Aside from needing to be logged in to battle.net to play, you don't have to ever interact with anyone that isn't your friend. Don't let the super douches discourage you from trying the game when it comes down in price.

@supertom221: Yes, creeping changes are something we need to be wary of. DLC packages have weaseled their way into being a necessity. Though, on the other hand I seriously doubt that turning games into movies will not catch on like wild fire. If they wanted to make movies... they'd just make movies. More to the point of the article, should simply suggesting an idea make someone the target of this kind a of harassment?

@Lhomity: There is no constitutional right that allows people to abuse others at will. The only thing fueling these attacks is anonymity.

It's an option (a theoretical, rhetorical option) that would allow players the choice to skip gameplay. So, as an option, one could choose to accept or deny the benefits of said choice. How the hell does suggesting this as an idea warrant any kind of abuse at all? Don't like the idea? Don't select the option.
