looks just like an xbox controller.. which pays total respect to the xbox controller design. it's why microsoft has only made small refinements since the 360.. they have a great controller, and this only exemplifies that.

@teamparadox2k: will do. You can actually use custom pictures... through the media app by saving a photo to a usb drive then plugging it in then nagivating to it through media app, or also screenshots!

I've already got it and it's much more polished. there are still things I would like to see, such as animated backgrounds, but I'm happy with how it's evolving. I would like to see it more "4K" in some way, but now it's also VERY fast and I'm happy with that too.

I'll be buying the Series X at launch, expecting a price of $600, but I hope it sells for $500 and take a loss. $400 would be amazing but I don't think that's realistic given the amount of power we're getting with it.

It'll be funny, but I could totally see Sony undercutting Microsoft and releasing the PS5 for $400. But I think it will sell for $500.

@Utnayan: Microsoft is a business and any business is going to try and sell a product if they can. What we're all expressing here.. read the other posts..is that choice is a good thing.. if the play-n-charge kit dies, you can replace it which is easier then getting a new controller. that's the reason. As this article describes, Microsoft did a survey and there are people out there that want the option for batteries. My point was that choice is good, and it still is. The reason they don't ship with the play and charge kit is because they want to sell it.. which any business would do. I don't fault them for that. Sony's the same way.. your controller dies? go by another controller.. the money goes to Sony. Both are businesses. They do different things, but with the same result.. to make money.

@RealmRPGer: that's why a rechargeable battery is a good option, as is choice. I've never had a problem with Microsoft's play-n-charge kit and don't mind paying for it. Microsoft, like Sony, is in the business to make money. Like the article said, they did a survey. there are people who want batteries. Their choice therefore is understandable.

@balugha: yep. that's why a removable and rechargeable battery is better. If it loses capacity, it can easily be replaced. That's why it's a good option Microsoft has done.. to offer choice. It would have been nice if they would have included a play-n-charge kit, but they're a business. They're out to make a profit. I don't blame them for that.

it's good to have choice, as others here have said. And what if an internal, rechargeable battery dies? how many people are actually going to try and take their controller apart? Microsoft made the right choice. I've never had a problem with the rechargeable battery pack and I'm glad to have the options. On the other hand, the controller for my PS4 Pro dies alot quicker, and there's not much short of a new controller that I can do about it. It's the right choice.

most popular? what about games in my library that Sony doesn't consider "most popular." Brilliant!

hopefully, Sony will continue to make more games available through backward compatibility and this 100 is just the start.. much the same way Microsoft did when it introduced the Backward compatibility program.

I lost enough games going from PS3 to PS4.. it'll really upset me if there are still games I can't play because they're not the "most popular"

@ashgrave: finally someone who gets it. the playstation guys on here, and really everywhere.. don't.. and it's not difficult.. they just want something to bash.. it's a "microsoft exclusive." microsoft is still making money cause they own Windows. They know exactly what they're doing. They're not giving up anything. the list the author put on here isn't all inclusive.. they should be even able to tell that, but they just want to bad talk so it's silly to discuss, and posting the article is just as silly.. it doesn't really tell anything worthwhile. I DO hope at E3 2020 that Microsoft brings back more of the exclusives they've been sitting on all these years, of course, games take time to make. Also, next year and on, we'll see Horizon 2, Spider-man 2, Gran Turismo Sport 2... both MS and Sony do it. If the games are good, and the Forza's ARE great, there's nothing wrong with it. Currently the Forza games are the best racers out there. Sony cannot even compare. Gran Turismo Sport was incomplete, and they do not have a arcade racer as good as Forza Horizon. That's just a fact.
