Many pre-installed games are found on user mobiles, which user group owns mobiles, business men and women... they always use a mobile, they're always on a train ride... they're more likely going to play a game, or even buy them... thats what I think
[QUOTE="Cronaroth"]It's just games that keep coming out on phones like that new MGS Touch game makes me just care less about mobile gaming since if that's what it offers-im staying out of it.lightwarrior179
Not all the popular or good franchises on consoles or other platforms make good mobile games as you well know. MGS was a poor in it's control schemes even on consoles so I can HARDLY expect it to be any good on mobiles. But some of the mobile games, like Symon mentioned are quite good and fun to play. I have reignited my interest in football (ahem, soccer) games on mobile since they are addictive when played alone or with a friend via Bluetooth. :DÂ
MGS touch maybe aimmed at those groups, other then that, I just think MGS is a brand itself, the mobile game is simply a dread spin off, same story, chance to use the hardware. However i'll be surprised if something interesting comes up. I took the chance to play Need for Speed Undercover on the mobile, you'll end up finishing the game within 2 to 3 hours flat. It was worth the time thou, it was pure 3D and also good graphics for a Sony Ericcson phone.
Some interesting spin offs have occur thou, Sonic had Sonic Jump made especiality for the mobile, it looks like a sonic game, the bosses are amazing, it really shows off what Sonic is, expect it has no speed. Others are awkward, Virtual Fighter has some awkward controls to preform. Burnout has a birdeye view to it and Guitar Hero really lost it's appeal.
