Sometimes Sega mades the games for the sake of it... with today's gaming market, it's difficult to keep up with the competition, so sometimes Sega mades elements in the game just because some other game has it or it's what most of the players like. Could explain HUB worlds, maybe some idoit likes it in some other game, so Sega would implanted it for the sake for it. The Werehog idea was beyond me, maybe because every guy (or any girls) love combat and button smashing like Kingdom Hearts, however Sega included it... everyone seems to like it. They must of prototyped it and some dumb kids were like 'Yea I like this part of the game' and the reviewers gave different opinions. There someone esle who loves the game. I had my bro and little sister keep on nagging me for Sonic Heroes, never mind the poor controls, they still enjoy the game and Sonic.

Many pre-installed games are found on user mobiles, which user group owns mobiles, business men and women... they always use a mobile, they're always on a train ride... they're more likely going to play a game, or even buy them...  thats what I think

[QUOTE="Cronaroth"]It's just games that keep coming out on phones like that new MGS Touch game makes me just care less about mobile gaming since if that's what it offers-im staying out of it.lightwarrior179

Not all the popular or good franchises on consoles or other platforms make good mobile games as you well know. MGS was a poor in it's control schemes even on consoles so I can HARDLY expect it to be any good on mobiles. But some of the mobile games, like Symon mentioned are quite good and fun to play. I have reignited my interest in football (ahem, soccer) games on mobile since they are addictive when played alone or with a friend via Bluetooth. :D

MGS touch maybe aimmed at those groups, other then that,  I just think MGS is a brand itself, the mobile game is simply a dread spin off, same story, chance to use the hardware. However i'll be surprised if something interesting comes up. I took the chance to play Need for Speed Undercover on the mobile, you'll end up finishing the game within 2 to 3 hours flat. It was worth the time thou, it was pure 3D and also good graphics for a Sony Ericcson phone.

Some interesting spin offs have occur thou, Sonic had Sonic Jump made especiality for the mobile, it looks like a sonic game, the bosses are amazing, it really shows off what Sonic is, expect it has no speed. Others are awkward, Virtual Fighter has some awkward controls to preform. Burnout has a birdeye view to it and Guitar Hero really lost it's appeal.

I loved the original Duke Nukem and I would love to get my hands on a new DN game, but how long can people wait? Actually there's a lot of interesting information regarding the development of Daikatana @ Wiki. Maybe you guys should check it out. DeadManRollin

I have a feeling everyone have long forgot about it with Metal Gear Solid, Persona and other series out and around... expect newspapers and gaming magazines.

I have the Gameboy Color version of Daikatana, the best version I've ever played, it's a bit like Zelda. If the PC version was alot playable, I would say it would of been a good game... the ending was interesting I have to say, (watched it on Youtube).

Well, yeah, you guys are right. Like many gamers of my time, I was also hyped up about Daikatana. But man, the game was sooo horrible! Using Quake 2 engine when Quake 3 was already out was the biggest piece of crap I've ever seen. The same fate awaits Duke Nukem Forever, which is taking forever to be made!DeadManRollin

They had to delay the game many times, the stories been talked about over and over again along with John Romeno driving Ferrari's around Dallas, Texas and spending all the fund money on a gaint marble floor which says Ion Storm.

I can't wait too play Duke Nukem Forever on a 2009 Engine,... since it's set in a 1990 era

Eastern RPGs because "Middle Earth" games grow very tiresome.loopy_101

THe Noose/Viking RPG styles gets boring fast, also that setting feels like some places here in London... Valkyire Profile 2 did that... seriously. it was an interesting story, however gave me a headache with some of the settings and enivornment.

Sega maybe got bored, however who knows. However I do have an idea where they wanted to really expand Sonic. However it feels like UT3 to me all over again... new direction, better graphics, annoying side kicks. Sonic Heroes sold well at least... so in a way, it's was a success to the marketing team.

And if you're curious: Shadow the Hedgehog is the equivalent of Catwoman.

LOL, would of ever expect that
