PC had the parts and interface to make it into the PC, keeping in mind that 6 years ago, there were PDA's and Plamtops, this may be the future. Consoles will always be in our homes, keeping in mind that something like the PSP2 can take over consoles and we can take it around and play games on flights and etc...

However that's too much of a predictable answer

When it comes to games and software, it will continue, no question about it, a game like Starcraft does the answer justice and influenced many part of the world... imagine what Starcraft 2 will do?

Also keeping in mind that computers have been around for decades, the PC has been around for almost 30 years and science fiction animes shows screens in a hologram vision... surely everyone knows it's a PC.

1999 saw the introduction of Quake 3, Unreal Tournament, Soul Calibur on Dreamcast, Tekken Tag Tournament, PS2 announcement, the first line of Nvidia Geforce graphic cards andGunpei Yokoi's final creation, the Wonderswan, finally saw release in Japanese stores.

It was a far better year in gaming, all in all. I don't think 2009 will bring any surprises that'll match the greatness that was gaming in 1999.

I remember how amazing UT was after playing the demo... DM_Morphus really shown off what video games can really do at the time.

Now a days in 2009, I think of it more as more processing, HD graphics was 2006/7, 2009 is more information being handled and with EPIC talk of shooters being a RPG hybrid along with more players taking part... games are getting bigger interally and being more load to handle.

Imagine Unreal Tournament with 256 players? Well MAG on the PS3 handled it... also Killzone 2 showed off what a multi-mode multiplayer match can be in the simplist form.

[QUOTE="DeadManRollin"]I liked the movie...it was a lot better than the 3rd x-men movie, and the game's hardcore...truly. There are some really bloody and deadly moves for Logan. I think it should've been rated M for the violence. pai-may

I could make a better movie on my phone than X3, which truely sucked all joy out of the series for me.

Of course, they already sucked the life out of it in X3, X2 wasn't so bad, however that's hollywood... still in hopes of making money since the 1920's and hoping the great depression will never happen.

Yeah, they introduced too many new characters, and most of them were ridiculous, e.g. I don't think Colossus and Juggernaut has been more ridiculed any form of media other than x3.

The cameo of Colossus was alot better in X2... it was at least fun. The fight between Juggernaut and Wolvervive was too predictable and annoying. They only balanced the new characters by killing the 'unappealing' characters.

Also the way they introduced Gambit in the Origins movie was a joke, they should of added him alot time ago as it would of saved the movie and balanced out the characters.

Both Devil Summoner which is set in 1920 Japan got a 7.5 out of 10... compared to the other games... Gamespot always has their ways of reviews games, it's just makes it easier to make desicions of finding the best experience in video games.

I remember being in the school playground, watching guys using their Data Zapper playing Battleships, it's was a really fun way of playing a video game, let alone being a game... we could of played football or basketball, however sometimes a few of us wanted to escape that team sport and play a video game using a handheld.

I also have a DS, I would like to get the most out of it, I remember when I went to an club, I saw 17 year old kids playing Mario Kart of their DS's

However as for the stand alone experience... it's simple, take it anywhere, play the game when someone is bored... it's simple as. Gameboy and Game and Watch did alot to show this, it's being simple, compared to the battery eating Game Gear.

I enjoyed the experience of running a game when I was first experiencing computers. This was back when 95 was out, I remember buying computer magazines and reading what the sims was about. I was actully amazed about the concept of having your own avatar and telling it how to live their life.

It's an industry standard now, I think, every game which tries the open world appoach is going for this. However it's only because we have the technology and hardware to produce the content, the developers wants to put into their games.

Thats true, I like a cinematic game experience but it needs to be a game formost.

This is something some developers do not seem to follow and make some games more like interactive videos rather than a game with cinematic feel (what I mean is there needs to be a degree of challenge and you should be in control like Fallout 3 and not say Bourne where you rarely have control over the game due to the constant quick time events).

Garfield360UK

It is a game isn't it? Well a Video game... my trusty dictionary tell me what a game is... I have a control here, choose how to move my avatar around, depending on what they pick up and analyze and what they do with clues and items, the cinematics is the feedback the players gets at the end of the day. How I win the game? Well in Bourne case, we know when we win and lose.

When it comes to using the console's hardware, something like MGS4 really maxs out everything, the graphics, Blu Ray space, content, etc... that's what I call a 'must own' video game.

I can see why GS let him go now, I think I'll have to end it there when it comes to talking about Jeff.

True, that said I think the reviews here are starting to be better. I am a bit doubious about another site I use as some games I think they have been very generous with scores.Garfield360UK

Yeh, GS improves as time goes along... no one is prefect, Hopefully for the best and so other members can start reviewing games and get paid for it... makes me wonder why Jeff was fired... because he was totally in video games, however there always an end for everything.
