Some of my observations: Game play is very smooth, I am playing on ultra with a 970 and it is very very good... no major bugs to find as of yet. The strategy side has been dumbed down a lot by turn 50 I had already upgraded my main province fully... economy is a bit different too. I wouldn't call it broken just a different approach then previous games. Battles are awesome watching your calvary smash into infantry and having the infantry tumble about has a fantastic feel to it reminds me of Rome 1. Have only played the empire and it gets very hard playing them once chaos starts attacking... over all a great game.

So much hate for gaming laptops.... I work in Africa and for a long time because of a lot of travel and a lot of power outages, I used a laptop for most of my gaming. Sure the graphics weren't as good as my desktop is now but if your so focused on the graphics of the games your sort of missing the whole point of gaming. Playing games is a great way to escape the daily grind. Good games have either great action, great stories, or great strategy some have all three. And you honestly do not need to play on ultra to enjoy those aspects. I remember one of my staff had a funky laptop with an integrated graphics card and I copied oblivion for him and even though the graphics were terrible he still loved playing that game because to him the graphics didn't matter just the game itself. Hands down a desktop will always beat a laptop in terms of processing power, it will always have better graphics, more ram, better screen, etc... But for those of us who are on the go we need portable laptops that will allow us to enjoy the games even if we have to take a hit on the graphics.
