Blizzard should keep investing in WoW, since it's still the best MMORPG out there.

Their engine is still the best. Their world and lore is still the most complex (even though the Pandaria storyline is terrible).

I'm part of the crew that already flocked to many, many, MANY different MMOs and I've never found the polished and quality material offered by World of Warcraft.

@Harradrane I really hope so, man! I'm looking forward for a great MMORPG for a long time!

Star Wars: Old Republic was the biggest disappointment of my life!

People have been talking about the so called "WoW Killer" for... years, I think!

Warhammer Online, Age of Conan, Rift, Star Wars: Old Republic, Tera... None of them could "steal" a big chunck of WoW's player base (at least, not for too long).

Fact is: WoW is a 7 years old game now, and it's still more polished and complete than any MMORPG in the market.

I agree that the formula is getting old. I agree the genre needs something fresh, and not another "WoW Clone" (I'm looking at you, Star Wars Old Republic).

But even on the day this groundbreaking game arrives, World of Warcraft won't "die". It will simply enjoy a peaceful retirement, and maybe it will get a lot better when 50% of the whiners and babies migrate to another game.

There will always be people who have never played WoW and are able to have a blast playing all the game through (I know that because I invited 3 people to the game in the last months and they are loving it).

@Randomisrandom Completely agree! It's like the stupid people at Pirate Bay who don't know how to mount a f**ing .iso and keep flaming the commentary session with "THIS TORRENT SUCKS" and such things!

If you got hacked, it's your fault. Period.

@genjuroT I disagree. Diablo III customization is far more flexible than the previous games. You have 6 hard choices (the spell slots), you have the Rune System, and you have the Passive Skills. Everyone will have all the spells unlocked, that's true, but you won't be able to use all of them at the same time, so you'll have a bunch of choices to make.

@Giancarlo @DonGibon I think you've done a great job situating those who have never played the franchise before. Straight to the point, and covered the main events. Of course, Diablo's storyline is way more complex and there is a lot of lore involved.
