The graphics look awesome! Though I'm still not completely sold on the game. I fear it could become very repetitive and hope the difficulty will be scaled up from the prerelease demo versions. (I am confident that it will be.) I've already preordered Ryse though will play the demo if one is offered before opening it. I doubt there will be demos for launch games though. If Ryse can somehow overcome it's Kinect-only origins it could be a phenomenal game. If it can pull off the combat, story, and game mechanics half as well as the graphics it should do just fine.
@Snakepond1 You do realize that anyone that bought the game then read the review and decided to let other people form their opinions could just return it as long as they didn't open it...right? Both systems have games released before the launch to help reduce the amount of product for retailers to deal with on Friday and, more importantly, to ensure that people will make good on their preorders. Once you have the games you are far more likely to get the console at launch. It's not some conspiracy to rip off consumers as you fanboys claim.
@Sevenstorms Resogun is actually pretty awesome and I don't even usually care for shooters. The fact that it's one of the free ps+ titles doesn't hurt either. Have fun with Lococycle. I'll be enjoying DR3 and playing Ryse. (hopefully I enjoy Ryse as well but so far I'm just not so sure.)
@07wintert @haze_blaze It actually sounds like you are the one with the lack of understanding of resolution. What haze_blaze said is correct and what you said is simply wrong. Live with it.
@FAIL_TR0LL @Scorpion1813 Some people have complained of a few frame rate issues while others have said they didn't have any. There is also a patch coming that is supposed to fix the problem for those that have experienced it. Aside from that though, both versions will look and play great and unless you are playing it at the same time on both your ps4 and x1 then the difference in resolution shouldn't be an issue.
I'm also completely confident that in a year or two we'll forget all about these resolution issues. Once the devs have time to get to know the X1 and ps4 they'll both run native 1080p at 30 to 60fps respectively.
@arqe @zerofrust That's not entirely accurate. The size of the t.v. is only half ot the equation. How close you are to the source is just as important. The difference is evident on a 32" t.v or even 27" if you are within a few feet of it. (which most gamers I know sit quite close to the monitor/t.v. while gaming)
