@sonic_spark: Same here if it's at all possible. What I wonder is if most of the really good Wii/Wii U games will be ported to the Switch. I hope Xenoblade Chronicles will at least be ported over.

@themanofpears: To put this matter of factly: I actually lost my first PS4 to this erroneous "rest mode" issue thinking it wouldn't hurt the system one iota. I was wrong. Within 2 weeks, the poor system was DEAD. "Rest Mode" is in theory a good thing for say charging controllers and downloading large games but anything other than that, it should never be supported or enforced. Sony should do something with the Slim PS4 to discourage its use or explain its real purpose to its existence so people don't accidentally kill their systems.
5-10 DREAMCAST games
10-25 for ps2 games

I'm not paying $25 for PS2 games just to download them. Sorry. Unless they're putting brand-new stuff and not releasing games in stores anymore, there's no way I'm paying that much for them. Unless they start bringing the rare ones. THEN I might consider it, but unless they start doing that, I'm not going to do that. That's more than the Greatest Hits games at the moment.
[QUOTE="regix416_basic"]Who did you get the game from? GameStop? If you did, ask them if they've heard of old 80 Gig PS3's having problems reading the game, and if so if there's a way to fix it. Then again, if you've already contacted NIS America, wait and see what they say. I just hope its not one of those that isn't one you're going to have to play on a PS2 alone. finalstar2007
i got it from Ebgames in Canada .. and those people dont know a thing .. evrytime i ask they answer saying that they dont know ..*sigh* ... anyways i still have my fat ps2 :P my brother use it a lot .. so i guess i will play the game after i finish kingdom hearts : chain of memories and im playing it on ps3 :D
Hmmm. Well, I still have a fat PS2 as well. Unfortunately, the poor thing is dying-- the thing won't even read God of War properly. *sigh* Chain of Memories works on the PS3 though? That's a new one, isn't it? Hmmm, that doesn't make sense why that works and the other one doesn't. Well, hopefully when NIS catches wiff of the problem, they can hopefully fix the problem. I have one of their DS titles and I love it, so I really hope they can get Ar Tonelico II working on the PS3 for you, even though it is technically a PS2 game, but you know what I mean. ^_^ Good luck!
Um, this is just a shot in the dark but what kind of setup do you have? Do you have your sound hooked up to your TV or do you have an HDMI-capable receiver? If you have your sound hooked up to a receiver but it doesn't decode HDMI signals (I have the same scenario), then you'll hear 5.1 but you won't hear the entire 7.1 or DTS HD in certain games until you get one. Is that what you mean? If you have it hooked into your TV, chances are you'll only hear 2.0 or surround sound.Because if all you are doing is listening to is HDMI through your TV you won't hear much except for whatever the TV can produce which is only stereo or a fake surround sound.
Does this info help?
Here's another possibility I just thought of... is your TV's sound muted (your TV main speakers)? As in turned off? If that's the case, turn it back on. See if that helps. Or if its not, and you have it hooked up to a receiver try turning it off and see what happens. If you have no sound, then you have to turn it back on.
