yea.. since they copied wiis motion control and the front and back camera of the dsi and added the touch pad gimmick on the back..

i think they saw how if they call a gimmick a small quirky name like "wii" it will sell.

i mean if you imitate hardware you might as well imitate the name..

thats my opinion.

personally... i dont mind the name vita. its fine :)

I call it PSP2 every now and then but not really. I like PSVita. It might just need to grow on you, give it some time. There are plenty of names they could of used that probably would of been terrible and embarassing to say haha ;)

Day one for me. They actually did a good pricing this time (don't think so? look at 3ds) but I still would bought it if it was a little bit more methinks. Glad it is not though :)

Anyone have a list of PSP Games being released in 2011-2012? I've been looking and couldn't find anything really.

Persona 2 is the only one I know of and I'm really really looking forward to it!

I chose games. I mean all the other features will be awesome and all but I'm not going to buy it just for those things. It has to have awesome games being released for me to actually buy it. I mean who is going to buy a gaming system just for the cool features and no/crappy games?

I voted stop the trophy hunting, it's good and all-- And you should still do it but play the game for enjoyment first.

Does it mess the system up like it did on the PS2? If so, could I just convert my dvds to the ps3 format (mp4) and watch them that way without messing it up?
