Imo, I'm not sure whether the sheer power of numbers always gives us the real picture. Obviously, not everyone who buys a smartphone is interested in playing videogames let alone spending money on them. It's the same reason that not everyone who owns a computer is an avid gamer. As long as dedicated game consoles deliver awesome games and superior playing experience, there will always be a lot of people who buy them.
I've always thought of PS Vita as primarily a gaming device. The only reason I'd get Vita or any other console is to play some nice games that I like. There are always good and lame games coming out for all platforms. but I couldn't care less about the gimmicks and what stuff other people prefer to carry around with them. no article will make me think otherwise. lol
It was nice to read the article since it did not feel like a provocation; but after all I'm completely fed up of comparisons, all they have managed to prove that it's time to grow up, because finally they make no point whether a game is good or not.
