@ethanm1834 @quigonzel I realize that, I just would hope that EA's distancing from Nintendo isn't an indicator that they think the problem is solely Nintendo's.
It's not the WiiU's fault that the EA games didn't meet expectations in sales. They released Mass Effect 3 7 months after its initial launch. Madden had been out months already and FIFA has an eclectic fanbase that wouldn't reflect well on the WiiU's poor sales. NFS series has been on the decline for the past few years so I hope that EA isn't putting this solely on Nintendo. After all, with no games in development for the U means no potential for new IP's and no potential for sales.
The WiiU's problem isn't the commercials, the games or even how it was marketed to the public. The only thing holding the WiiU back is the Wii. People are afraid it's going to be a thing they drop all this money on only to become something that's collecting dust within the next 3 months. Nintendo is going to have to go through a war of attrition with this console in order to prove they still have what it takes.
I believe the WiiU will make or break their future in the home console market.
