@KingofgamersX Only on gaming-review websites is watching a video the same as playing the game. People are already set on what they think of a game before they even touch it...

@rickphoenixxx your hypothetical (of it doing better if it were on other consoles) is unrealistic. It was either Nintendo or no game at all.

@klonoa53 the developers have said themselves that the idea didn't come from Sonic Xtreme. The head of the Sonic Team said it himself (interview link below): "No. Not at all. Actually, the developers of this game don’t know about Sonic X-Treme so it’s all new."

@PhyllypJovovich You do know that by saying Nintendo you're also including the 3DS which has been the best selling system for months now.

Also how can you doom the WiiU if it still hasn't released its top selling franchises? Nintendo screwed up the launch of the WiiU but dooming it would be saying that you can't breathe new life into it anymore (which you can, seeing as the only big selling franchise they've released so far is 2D Mario)
