Great game but it leaves a funny feeling in me. I adore going about gathering clues, following leads, interrogating witnesses, all that. What I don't like, but can't say anything against, is how the game handles your failure. It isn't afraid to let you screw yourself over. I just sent a guy to death row for a crime I have no evidence he comitted, solely because he didn't have any evidence he didn't commit it either. The police chief got pissed, the case notes mentioned his now orphaned daughter, and I'm left sitting in my chair wondering if it really was him. There was another suspect, and a child molester at that. It was slightly less possible for him to have been the killer, but it was still a possibility. And it would have been a great thing to have him gone, but the evidence against the first man was stronger, and now that I think about it I was getting annoyed I couldn't read him well enough to do well in interviews with him.
You see that up there? That is more thought than I've put into some entire games. This is why I love this game.
