[QUOTE="julian_jr"]It seems as though a lot of people in gamespot have relatively low amount of people in their facebook friends. lensflare15
Lol, we have Gamespot, who needs facebook?
Agreed. I have more tracked people in gamespot than friends in facebook lol. I have 600 "friends" here. Half of it I think was added on my first month here in GS.
Is this a joke? I'd think an IT company wouldn't want you to have failing grades in what I assume is relevant to the job? I can't say that I'd hire you either, that's like hiring somebody who failed medical school as a doctor. And also, seriously with the email address? SERIOUSLY? You could not have gone onto one of NUMEROUS FREE email hosts and made an email like john-smith1@hotmail.com? Something that doesn't reflect the immature kid you were when you made it? Cripes. You want people to figure you're an intelligent, professional person, that's about the least you can do. The personal questions are to get a feel for what kind of person you are, they're part of the interview. Contrary to popular belief, employees are more than robots that work and nothing else. They want to see if you're annoying or an asshat, because they don't want to hire people who are going to make the workplace hell for their fellow employees. Your classmate probably got a job there because they don't have your attitude, and probably have better grades than you to boot. A resume is to see if you have qualifications. An interview is to see if you're a terrible person and completely unsuited for the job despite what your qualifications might be. They're profiling you, watching how you respond to things. I think you might have got a failing grade there, too. Gotta agree with MrGeezer on this one, you're not getting that job so you'll definitely never have to talk to her again.XilePrincess
Sorry if you think I'm immature. I've been through other interviews and this one just feels wrong. I wasn't kidding when I said snotty. I wouldn't be surprised by your reaction though. Yes, school_is_prison is an unprofessional address. I have no objections on why she raised the matter. I was pissed off by how she retorted back. She was just a plain annoying and her questions had nothing to do with the company's interest.
You also got it wrong. My friend landed on that low position and that wasn't even what he signed up for. I merely pointed it out to show how ridiculous their high profile requirement is. By the way you are saying it is like I'm never going to get a job.
