I thought it couldn't be done. A console that has the power to play any & every game including PC games, but this is the real deal. If the price is right & the service is good people will get it. 360 owners will get it to play PS3 games & vice versa IF it goes that far. Also you have PC titles you can play with out the worry of it working on your computer. I agree with DarthEthong467 that Microsoft & Sony will never put there games but it's a first step & only time will tell. If the price is right for the hardware & the subscription fee is good then I will definitely buy an Onlive console. I'm already sold on it as it is. Maybe now I can finally play Crysis with out having to upgrade my damn laptop...Again.
The problem is that developers are still getting use to blu-ray disks. Also if think about it, if you where makin a game for both systems would you make one better than the other or not. I'm sick of the PS3 gettin a bum rap cause of the 360 library or "we got Halo 3 & Gears of War" or Xbox live is better. First off PS3 has the power so use it to its full potential. Second the 360 still has that stupid "Rings of Death" crap that microsoft is to lazy to fix before the system comes out. Finally if you have a bigger library so what, you also have more crappy games as well. Don't get me wrong cause I have both systems & I love each for different reasons but graphics isn't the most important thing. lets look at exclusive games. Lets put Halo 3 vs Uncharted or Lost Odyssey vs Heavenly Sword. each of these games pushes its systems farther than a third party game. Ether way at the end of the day I play & love my 360 & PS3 the same, but my Wii is always gonna be #1
I agree with nadzero about remaking FFVII on the PS3. I saw the tech demo & I got the same feeling I had when I first played FFVII. Dirge of Cerberus was kind of weak & Crisis Core though I wasn't to fond of the gameplay, the story is what everyone really bought it for. If FFVII gets remade, Square - enix will make millions, The PS3 will be sold out everywhere & FFVII will probably out sell GTA 4 & Metal Gear cause of the huge fan base it started back in the 90s & its Final Fantasy fans from before VII.
