I think the games of the CD-i are or could have been good. I mean Nintendo was suck a big sourpuss. Nintendo did help make these games and most people forget that Nintendo aproved the looks of the characters and the cut sceens. Nintendo was acting like a spoiled child that was forced to share its toys. Nintendo wanted these games to fail. Nintendo gave the CD-i games verry little money and time to make the games, thus they look "bad". Then you forget that it is ONLY your generation that hates the CD-i. Before 2000 the CD-i Zelda games were decent and won a few awards and many positive reviews. It is just that many of the new generation did not grow up with consoles like the SNES. If the WOG was on the SNES every one would not be complaining, but because it is on the CD-i a nonNintendo console they yell and complain. Even Mario goes missing sucks worse then Zeldas Adventure. Even AVGN said that Hotel Mario was not that bad, and yet many people like that game. It is just this generaton that has never tried any of the games and they complain. The only issues I have is that I had to get an contoler converter so I could play ZWOG. I mean come on the voice acters hardly got paid at all! To you know how much they worked with no over time or benifits. The CD-i was not even made to play video games in the first place.Linuxgamer94

Well since you've already bumped the thread I'll just throw in before the mods block the thread that it has nothing to do with peoples preference of console. It's because frankly they suck really quite hard. How some of them managed positive reviews upon release is beyond me, because there's not much there that I could find that was positive.

Intelligent comments are very rare. Here are only stupid topics such as: "This vs This, which is better?" or "Name your favourite games". Also here are mostly idiots without common decency. Even IGN has a better community.

I think you have to be careful when comparing them, one is an action platformer, the other is much more of  run and jump platformer and both are great games.

Unless I've missed an article or two (which I wouldn't be surprised by) kinect will not spy. Anyone who's been following the very recent, and ongoing, scandal about various intelligence agencies spying on everyone should have gathered by now that the data companies and agencies are most interested in who, what, when and where. This info can be gathered without a camera and mic, it's even pointless for advertising. Facebook is a brilliant example.

The most important data about you and your habits, and anything that they deem valuable for advertisers can be gathered from an Xbox One, a PS4, your PC, your xbox 360, your PS3, heck even your Wii U. They don't need a camera to track you.

The reason there's so much hate is because of a combination of trolls, fanboys and people who are nither, but really don't seem to know when to stop. Bear in mind that the XboxOne's pre orders have shot up dramatically since MS dropped the restrictions. As seems usual on the net the majority of us that haven't got a problem anymore just don't join in, but the people who still have a problem are loud and unrelenting. It's kind of the same everytime a new set of consoles are on the way.

imo gears one looks more realistic, and for SURE it has better textures. why is this? why would a game that comes out 5 years later look worse than a 2006 game? :S
