@Pelezinho777: They also looked incredibly ugly with terrible screen tearing and jagged edges every time you turned your character.

@the_master_race: They made it clear they are running everything at max at 4K with a GTX 1080... These benchmarks are actually rather impressive, considering the GTX 1080 is hardly a true 4K graphics card. I'd be curious to see GS do benchmarks with the GTX 1080 ti, which is what I just purchased.

@mrcardio79: "[S]olid frame rates" equating to 30 fps at best with a slightly higher resolution than 1080p. That's not commendable or impressive, but it was expected with a $400 price tag. I suspect that the Xbox One X will be a more true native 4K console given the hardware, but even it probably won't get native 4K with 30 fps on most games.

Console gaming just isn't there yet and 4K gaming isn't affordable enough for it to be realistic on consoles. Microsoft and Sony can falsely advertise their pseudo-4K consoles, but I won't expect consoles to truly be capable of native 4K at 30 fps until the next console cycle. The graphics card you need to be able to even render at 4K with decent performance simply is too expensive for console manufacturers at this time.

I'll stick to a standard X1 and a standard PS4 as these mid-generation upgrades are a scam and a waste of money. The small boosts you get are not worth the cost of admission.

With Spider-Man coming to the PS4, who honestly cares about these terrible excuses for Spider-Man games?

@lukey52: I hope you realize those who already owned the digital copy of the games still can play them. The only thing this stops is anyone from buying future digital copies of these games.

@spectrexr1: You don't "own" anything, even when it's a physical disc. When we buy games, we accept EULA's that given us a license to rent the game. The developers and publishers withhold the right to take those games away at any time. Think you are safe? A simple patch or update could render your game inoperable. Think you can just stay offline forever? Welcome to the internet age. Microsoft jumped the gun, but always-online is becoming a real thing in the gaming industry. Your fear of digital games is silly and irrational. If anything, it's far more convenient and typically cheaper than buying physical discs. If games go to GOG, there is zero DRM there and you never have to worry about losing the game.

@Downloadpilot: I have no idea whether it's fun or not. I never spend money on early access shovelware. That being said, clearly there's a market out there for it. I'll stick to games that are actually complete.

@icing: Valve didn't just "decide" to do refunds. Origin was doing it for a while and Steam was getting criticized for not having a similar policy. Valve was forced to do it.

Anyone dumb enough to buy any early access game should get burned. As far as Steam's refund policy, people abuse it to just rent games for two hours.

@Downloadpilot: You must live under a rock or are a console gamer. RUST is one of the most popular survival games on steam.
