I'm sorry, but I have to say you're giving horrible advice. You're saying he should buy a 20" 480p LCD TV over a 1080i/720p HD CRT TV. CRT HDTV's are great. People only don't like them because of their size. The only reason CRT is a "dying" technology is because it's impractical to produce them in large screen sizes because of their size and weight. They provide better images than LCD's of the same price.dmanrevived

I agree. MY 60" widescreen HD CRT TV has a beautiful picture.  For the life of me I dont understand why some people are dropping $500 to $700 bucks on a tv's 32 inches or smaller.  If you have the room bigger is better. I have been playing my PS2 and now my 360 on my bigscreen for two years now. No burn in.  You can now get CRT HD TV's with 50 inch screens for as little as $600.  Some even have HDMI. Check out the widescreens from Philips.  I luv mine.

I am going to be getting a wheel as I plan on purchasing Burnout 5 and Forza 2 in the future.  The only thing I dont like about the microsoft wheel is that it looks as though it needs to set on a desk and not between your legs.  You would think by now they would come with velcro straps to attach it to your legs when you play. My logitech wheel was a pain a azz when it came to this.  I eventually mounted to a table which I used when I raced but that is when I play in my garage. Dont go to cheap if you get a wheel either get the microsoft wheel or the one made my logitech.

You can go in an delete some things to gain more space such as pictures and things that you will never use.  It wont increase youre memory much but you may as well as get rid of that crap anyways.

Your right about the booklet. It really does not tell you how to steal.  Pushing up on hit stick and x is steal when not in base burner mode.

I dont see the big deal either. I am new to having a 360 but to me it seems like they should concentrate on just making more bullet proof consoles.  That is how you keep people buying your product. Get the customer service down and make the units more reliable.  They have already stolen alot of the gamers from Sony.

He right you dont have to unplug it. the manual recommends unplugging it during a lightning storm. lets hope you are home when the storm hits.lol

I just got a 360 a week ago. My wireless headset has no static. In fact the first time online I had to keep asking the guy if he was there because it was so quiet i thought we had disconnected. There was hardly any lag time when we played against each other online. Kudos to microsoft.

Yeah that did the trick.  I get a free month of gold which is nice.  I probably will get a router soon not only because of what you mentioned but evertime I swap out the cables in the back of modem I have to reload my favorites into the system on my computer.
