@Search_for_Vali Carolyn DID quote(or misquote) from the Edge article and it's entirely out of content. The Edge article actually praised Naughty Dogs going out of their way to not be sexists.
I don't think the problem is that whether sexism exists in gaming or not(it does, so does every other media), it's just that Carolyn used the wrong game to prove her point.
Anyways, I totally disagree with this article, as stated in my previous post. Carolyn had to quote three other people in one short article in attempt to hammer her point home, that's not very good journalism.
It's easy to say "forget about race" until your in someone else's shoe. I don't blame every single one of my problems on me being Chinese or anyone else being racist. What I'm trying to say is racism isn't something anyone should just shrug off.
/shrug I'm Chinese that grew up in Boston, I've been bullied by both white and black people from elementary to high school, and teachers would chalk it up as kids being kids. Racism is very true, but does it mean I should grow up being a cynic and misanthropist? At some point, maybe. But there are far too many friendly people out there for me to become a hateful person.
