The worst thing is people re-packaging mods and claiming they made them and selling them. I really doubt anyone would give permission to someone to use their mod assets to profit off. This may kill a lot of good mods from being made in the future.

The greed of valve knows no limits. 75% money they take for doing nothing, lol?

i had a mini case once, it was hell to fit anything in. Most of the hard drive cables didn't even work because the motherboard was so crammed in there. And the video card was only mid sized and barely fit also. I wouldn't go for a mini case ever unless your only putting one hard drive in it and using onboard video card.

Even mid sized cases have their problems, i can barely fit my old 5870 card in a mid tower i have and its not even the longest video card i have. on that card they put the power connectors at the end of the card instead of at the top so they require even more space length wise... i'll never use anything but a full tower on any future pcs i make. Full tower is so nice to work inside, you have space to put the cables and put in hard drives anywhere you want.

Wolfenstein New Order was somewhere between 40-50 gbs. its pretty messed up because the graphics in that game didn't stand out any better then games that were 5x smaller in size.

You make a good point about them offering different sizes for you down download. If your only going to run the game at 1080p, its a really big waste of bandwidth to have to download 4k textures for a game you probably will never use quality that high.

These big sizes probably hurt digital sales a bit... but on the other side, probably lowers piracy a bit also. My over usage costs are about 1.5 dollars a gig... so if i did download a digital game that big it would cost me over a hundred dollars in bandwidth, plus the cost of the game on top of that.

if your characters silent, its because the developer was being lazy. Sometimes its small time games that do this. GTA 3 was like this, and they quickly learned having a main character that can talk brings the game to life much better.

Could you imagine playing Mass Effect if your character was mute?

The more recent elder scroll games, your characters don't have any spoken dialog, and it really hurts the storyline with this.

When i think back on games with good storylines, most of them have had a main character that could talk and wasn't a weird mute.

jesus dude... you need to get back on your meds then.

im being serious. seek treatment, or get back on your meds. if you are on meds, and you still feel that kind of anxiety, then you arent on the right ones and need to speak with your psychiatrist.

someone hacked my xbox 360 account couple years back. No idea how because my password was sorta hard, an uncommon word and two numbers. But after that i made my password 100x harder, its random characters and symbols, it wouldnt be possible to guess it even if you had a million years to do so, it would require pure brute force to do it.

The loser that broke into my account bought fifa digital items and stole my money that way. Another reason to hate EA for having a p2w crap in their game so people were able to steal funds and transfer digital items. I've never even played this crappy Fifa game.

I got my money refunded after a month but lost all trust in security and have bought very little on my xbox or playstation since.

What bugs me is they don't let you use long enough passwords so you have to resort to odd characters, i rather have a super long password that i can remember but would not be possible to guess. My truecrypt password is over 45 characters long, its easy to remember because its a weird phrase i memorized but added numbers to the end of it to complicate it further. One of my online banking passwords are super weak, they only let you use around 14 characters, so i randomized it best i could with words and numbers with no logic.

Another thing i'll add, i don't type in my passwords from beginning to end, i cut a portion from a text file and fill in the blanks from memory making it near impossible to guess even if i had a keylogger on my pc.

password length is more important than complexity.... FYI. an 8 character password with random numbers and letters is actually EASY to brute force. let this comic explain:

ya i agree. 8 characters long no matter what symbols can be guessed fairly fast with a pc. Actually i remember cracking a .zip file password that was 7 characters long way back in 1999 with an old pc and it only took a few days. Using just a simple brute force program in dos.

Thats what bugs me with my banking password, they limit it to 14 characters. It should have no limit or at least let you use 30 characters at least. I think my xbox live had a limit also so i made it as long i could and used fairly random mix.

if the monitor only has one input you could get an hdmi or dvi switch, depending on what you need. HDMI switches are better since most don't require to be powered. I have a DVI switch also but it requires power so its not something i use.

the original Halo i thought had an interesting story. I'm not sure why people said it didn't. But i read the books so maybe it helped fill in some details. I liked how the game started off being the only humans alone in space and finding the halo world to explore

the other halo games though i didnt like the story of them, i think the idea of the world lost its interest after the first game

Is your CPU max'd out while playing games? Its interesting if this would help free up cpu by doing this.

I have a 4 core i7 4700k@4.5ghz and i've never seen any game use more then 50% of my cpu resources so im not sure if this trick would do anything for me... but i'm going to keep it in mind and test it out sometime if i hit a problem game.
