SNES and NES probably. But if PC counted as a console it would be above all that even. Just i remember playing a lot of snes and nes games as a kid and some of them were great fun back in the day, but my god there were a ton of garbage games on those systems, most games were just unplayable.... there was such little quality control.

I could wait 3+ years easily. its the same as the 2013 tomb raider so i would be missing nothing, plus i have tons of games in backlog so there is no rush at all to anything new. There is almost no game i buy anymore right at release, i usually end up getting it a year or more after for a lot less money and when i have time.

I jumped back into the game for a few days on a free trial a couple years ago. I couldn't believe how crappy it was. Its not a game i could ever go back to. Its gameplay and graphics have not aged well at all. I forgot how little character customization there was, its not as good as i remembered it way back in 2004 when i started it.

The last time i played for real as you call it would be right up till they released the burning crusade, i lost all interest in redoing all my hard work all over again with a new level cap.

i dont use crappy pc chairs anymore, i've converted into using my sofa recliner, its so soft and i don't get any back or shoulder pains any more. Even the highest end pc gaming chairs don't beat a nice well padded recliner. but you have to be willing to spend a 500+ on it. If your patient you can wait for things like this to go on sale. I got mine in sale 50% off on boxing day.

my back aches just looking at those so called "high end" gaming chairs you have posted here.

if there was a card 2x stronger then the titan and 4k monitors that were at least 144hz, then i would say 4k. But wait 5 years and we will all be saying 4k. Right now 1080p/1440p is a lot more enjoyable for most games.

For some reason 4k has been forced out the gate with tvs even though there is so little material that even uses it. The crappy satellite providers can't even provide proper 1080p video that isn't compressed to shit. I can't imagine how badly compressed and pixelated 4k would look.

I think for some games, even right now you could have a really nice looking game at 4k, but any fast action game i wouldn't want to try it.

I used to play with my friend in a game called Serfcity, it was a game that eventually became the Settlers series. We used two controllers in that game in split screen mode, but if i remember right, i think one used a keyboard/mouse and the other one used a controller/joystick. This was way back in the early 1990s, so its been possible for a long time.

The dual shock 3 scp server software lets you use 4 controllers, im guessing you probably could use 4 xbox ones also if you wanted. The most controllers i've ever used on my pc is 2 at a time.

Wait for DX12...

they still going to do dx12 for gta5 at some point? If they released a clean fully patched version of GTA5 with dx12 i'd actually buy it. The state of GTA5 right now it looks pretty junky and i don't want it.

most important part is a true opinion of the game from the reviewer and hopefully they can ignore pressure from hype and give it a true opinion. I seen so many that are cut and paste careful reviews and are pointless to read.
