im new to splinter cell.... im starting on chaostheory hard mode.... good idea?

when i play my game, either when im playin or dying in the game or finished playing the gmae,my computer restarts/ or turns on again after shutdown, and messes up on the start up. i have to wait for a while in shut down mode (days or a week) . when i start the computer again, i have to do a start up restore; whats wrong?
