@Aaronp2k I'll respectfully disagree with that example. The Witcher series and Dragon age series share one common theme...the torment of elves. Outside of that they are totally different in scope and narrative.

However, I do understand and agree with your argument of games utilizing what works and adding their own spin. That's just good business. There aren't many new ideas possible in game play mechanics.

@Mfman14 @Mariner32 CDPR is going to have a website that will allow you to shape the world on the consoles. I'm fairly sure the PC version is good to go with carry over.

Lets wait and see. This looks like early beta/late alpha footage. I'm gonna wait until next year some time to pass judgement.

First, an active T1 operators' disciplinary action would not be leaked to the public (op1 on the OBL raid by rule has no official capacity) under any circumstance. Second, a retired T1 operators' disciplinary action would not be leaked to the public.

This "story" is a gift from the DOJ to boost EA's game sales. Nothing more.

Either way they, in my opinion, should use an alien character. We already know that prior to sheppard the universe worked in cycles.

Give the player a choice between 3-5 races. This way you can flesh out animosities between the races, explore the genophage era, or make up some new stuff.

There are several untapped kegs in that universe.

So when does Blizzard whine and call them "losers" on their facebook page?

BTW I'm a D3 fan, but the team pulled a skrate punk move with that nonsense.

@XIntoTheBlue The uproar consisted of tens of thousands over the millions who enjoyed it. The ending has been enhanced. Yes, they wrote checks their butts couldn't cash, but it wasn't because of a lack of effort.

The game is cheaper now. If you've played the fist two buy it, love it. If not, buy the first two, play them, buy the last, and enjoy. Don't let less than 10% of players deter you.

Those two have most likely endured a crisis of conscience. The idea of security is fine, but self-reliance breeds innovation.

I won't say Bioware got lazy, but it appears they didn't maintain that same level of proficiency they showed up until ME 2.

Some folks complained about KOTOR 2. I was one of them, but I understand that it was used to fund ME 1 and Jade Empire.

They had a company that set trends; not defined by them. I would bet a steak dinner that the Doc and the Dr. spent many a day shaking their heads in disgust at many of the decisions they allowed EA to make.

Step out fellas get back out there on your own. The market will support good games. When you're ready, we'll be waiting with open wallets.
