So, for starters, I've personally NEVER been a Pokemon guy. Not once, not ever. My kids, yeah, different story. According to them it's Pokemon on HUGE amounts of steroids. They also say it's a MUCH better version of any Pokemon game they've ever played. So, yeah, there's that. I am SURE Nintendo is going to lawyer up and try to say the game stole assets or character designs and looking at some pics I can see the resemblance. However, a semblance of something does NOT make it an actual rip-off. If every game that came out with cute characters makes Nintendo lawyer up then we're in for a long decade.

PB has done so many games throughout the years and all of them quite lovely. Starting back with Gothic 1 and moving all the way forward to Elex 2. I hope these issues are not going to effect the Gothic 1 remake that's happening right now. If that ends up not happening I may very well implode with madness. While a LOT of people call what they do Eurojank I just really like how the Eastern European countries handle these kind of rpgs. They're not AAA super awesome quality but they're done well and have some really good systems some times. I honestly thought Elex 2 was a MUCH further step in the right direction towards actually improving their rpgs significantly.

Still, these guys/ladies make some epic rpgs that, although they don't appeal to everyone, certainly have a crowd of people that have been following and playing their games for YEARS and enjoying them immensely. I'll be very sad if PB closes. I honestly hope they pull through and make it. Fingers crossed M8s.

@Daian: I wish I could capture the magic I experienced when Gothic 1 dropped. I still have the boxed PC version and, man, was I ever in for a treat with that game.

Actually REALLY looking forward to the OG Tomb Raider games getting the HD treatment and rework. I can't even tell you how many hours I poured into those 3 games back in the day. Good stuff.

@reaperezekial: This is why games like the remake of System Shock will always get my money. With a supposed remake of Legacy of Kain or Blood Omen happening they'll get my money too. Now, if System Shock 2 would come out already....

Still, there's a want for remasters. Maybe NOT 3 year old games but I'd love to see reduxs or remasters of the og Deus Ex, Thief tDP, the original Fallout, Beyond Good & Evil, ALL the NOLF games, SWKotOR (one day, sigh), etc, etc. Heck, I'd LOVE to see the Resistance franchise remade as well as Metal Gear 4, all the Killzone games and all the Infamous games. Halo already got the remake (meh) and the PS3 had some killer games in their library. The Dark Souls remake was stellar. Now if they'd do Bloodborne already....

@sebb: How long did you try it for? The game really doesn't suck at all. In fact, it's a HUGE improvement over the original in almost every way. Did you play co-op at all? Honestly, that's the way you SHOULD play it.

It's my favorite co-op game of the year easily. Great fun with another player you know and trust (or love). LOTS to do. Finding the "hidden" classes is great fun and the fact that the world can change on you and you're not sure which "version" you're going to get also adds in the fun factor.

Ugh. Evil Dead: Rise. Was expecting something so much better. The first half of the movie is great. The 2nd half is overdone and abysmal.

My 2 cents.

The Wild Eight is a fantastic game (pun intended). it really is though. Thing is, idiots on Steam are going over to THAT page and, falsely, accusing the developer of changing their name to scam yet more people. Sigh. That's so not true. The Wild Eight is thoroughly complete and has been a finished game for years. It's big fun. It's so not surprising any longer that there are so many idiots on Steam that literally buy a game just to smack talk the developer. Yeah, Fntastic royally screwed up with The Day Before. No way around that. However, leave the Wild Eight alone. Yall are seriously screwing with a great game that is feature complete due to idiocy. Yes, I'm sure they changed the name to avoid this exact issue. Having people jump on the hate bandwagon and review bomb a great game due to another game's issues. What is it with the haters these days? You gamers are so unbelievably toxic it's crazy.
