I would also HIGHLY suggest using MO2 over Vortex for using all of these mods together if you wanted. While Vortex is great and I do use it for a few games, I just find MO2 to be a much superior and and better mod organizer and tool. It does take some light reading and patience to learn how to do mods and Skyrim is an absolute BEAST at being able to use hundreds of mods if you wanted to at the same time. Still, the Steam forums are a fantastic place to ask about modding as the Nexus site, while used heavily, doesn't have the user base that will reply to you like the Steam forums will.

As long as it doesn't sound like my PS4 Pro I'll probably pick one up. I'll wait for the reviews and vids first though. I still game on my PS4 Pro occasionally and it sounds like it's getting ready to take off and fly out the window it's so loud.

@stickemup: Totally agree. Neither the PS5 or the Xbox can do true 4k at native without employing some kind of trickery to make it look like that. They both use their own forms of upscaling similar to DLSS and FSR. In fact, DLSS and FSR were created for the sole purpose of TRICKING gamers/users into thinking they were getting a true 4k experience. It hasn't happened yet. In fact, you won't get a true 4k gaming experience unless you're running a high end GPU/CPU combo with a true 4k monitor and DLSS and FSR turned OFF.

Posting my 2 cents. Loving my playtime with DD2. I've got about 60 hours in so far and haven't gotten to the Volcanic Island yet. I KEEP FINDING hidey-holes, caves, lost fortresses, battlegrounds, HUGE enemies, a Medusa, etc, etc. It's like the game that keeps giving. It's ridiculous how much Capcom put into this game. If Skyrim was as packed with meaningful exploration and discoveries like this game I'd have never put it down. I just discovered that the freaking trebuchets ACTUALLY work tonight on a fluke. Now, I'm running all over discovering hidden areas that those trebuchets opened up. It's CRAZY.

@vgmkyle: I'm loving my playtime with DD2 immensely. It is not, however, better than BG3. In fact, you really can't compare the 2. Yeah, they're rpgs but other than that it's like comparing apples to oranges. BG3 is a more tactical isometric rpg. DD2 is 3rd person in your face, no pause, nonstop action most of the time. While in the same genre they couldn't be more far apart honestly.

@bobbo888: That's hilarious. It's FAR from abysmal, bruh. Also, Dragon's Dogma is an acquired taste. Not everyone is familiar with the previous game or even played it. It had kind of a cult following for years until others discovered how awesome it was. DD was Capcom's "indie" game and it blew most other rpgs out of the water in how versatile you could play the game. Also, you may want to check the numbers for Steam Charts. Right now DD2 had more than HALF the hours clocked in for active playtime compared to BG3. BG3 has been out since August 3rd of 2023. It has almost 60 million active hours played. DD2, in the 2 weeks it's been out has almost 38 million active hours played. In 2 weeks. It's also sold 3 million copies compared to BG3's 10 million. I'd say people are enjoying the bejesus out of DD2.

"...thrown off the sent..." should be "....thrown off the scent...". Yeah? You're a journalist. You USE programs that have SPELLCHECK. You have people that REVIEW your articles before posting. This is, like, 6th grade English class stuff.

Word coming out about this is he was speeding recklessly and did NOT have a helmet on. Man, if you're gonna go super fast on the highways you had best be armored up to take a hit because these passenger vehicles act like they can't see us.

Man, I've already created a deficit this year for all the goodness that has dropped. Between Nightingale, Enshrouded, Pacific Drive, Dragon's Dogma 2, FF7, Helldivers 2, Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader, New Cycle, Last Train Home, The Thaumaturge and the full release of Sons of the Forest I am in DEEP. I only game on the weekends and, man, I've got enough going on to last me til summer.

So looking forward to seeing what they do with the next installment. Considering Geralt's story is pretty much over at this point I'd imagine he's going to be in the game but probably a much older Witcher. Maybe a wiser, older Geralt instructing, etc. Still, their next main character has some HUGE shoes to fill considering we've had 3 amazing games with Geralt in them and the voice talent of Doug Cockle.
