I wish full length movies were produced with this type of CGI (and preferably without blue aliens). I personally don't see an issue with difficulty levels considering a gamer who loved Dark Souls (or any game) enough to beat it would play again anyway and want more challenge. But I also see the attraction for the cult following to keep it the same. I didn't complete DS1 but that was because of the nurf patch 1.05, so I can only hope Namco do not nurf armour and weapons during game play again. Fantasy needs items worth chasing after. It destroyed my progress because I couldn't take down some bosses when I installed it and I was too far in to be bothered starting again. Otherwise the game was definately an intense experience!
For someone so familiar with PC you don't know your way around a keyboard particularly well. Any justification as to why GTA is crap? Nope, didn't think so. Much easier to troll.
Hunting animals? It's the big thing now. Pops up in AC:USA. Cheers to Red Dead for that option (but perhaps there are other games that pioneered this?). I'm very much looking forward to FC3.
Ye olde battle was a great laugh but the ninja @1:58 with his wushu-style stepping and butterfuly kick...man, he is genuinely training somewhere. I do like the lovely girls. Noice!
PC gamers are like Apple users. They crap on and on adnauseum about their 'rig' (or i-blah) instead of the games they play. I switched from PC to PS3 for gaming not that long ago after needing yet another upgrade to play new release games and saw the graphics of consoles at a friend's house. Granted they took months to convince me and I do miss keyboard and mouse control sometimes. However, I stay in motels a lot for work, often for weeks, so unless the TV is locked out, I can easily box up my small console and controller and play 'till my hearts content. I wouldn't even dream of carrying a gaming rig around the country (Aust). Yes, I can get a notebook, but 15.5-17" screen compared to a 32" or better TV? And I get to play God of War, not wait months for cross-over releases, and trade in games. Noice!
The trailer is amazing, no doubts. But asked a direction question re: are the British the only enemy and not only did Ubisoft avoid an answer, they threw YET another preview of American's killing British! Why wasn't Connor kept neutral? Why not show him killing colonials who were doing worse things to the natives than the red coats who were more concerned with bringing the white settlers in to line? If Connor goes feral on the Americans then this will be worth it. But so far all I see is American history, not as a background, but as the total focus. Not even a Union Jack on the box art either to balance it all out, just the American colonial flag. At least Connor is more like Altair and the original (and best) AC game.
I cannot wait to play this! Seriously excited! Anything, and I mean anything Rockstar produce is of pure quality. Story lines, graphics and characters make their products more than just games. Red Dead and LA Noire were well crafted and I loved every second I was in those worlds.
