Bullshots? If anything the games look better in motion then from those screens. In a way those screenshots don't do either games justice to how good they look.
MGS runs in sub 720p,has flat lo-res textures galore and has a wildly unstable framerate.

Holy crap! It's been ages since I've seen you! Anyways, I think MGS4 has better character models, Gears2 better environment. But Shadow Moses beats all the areas in Gears2 :x Those are my thoughts. You didn't think the caves and Jacinto in Gears 2 matched Shadow Moses, hmm.
Metal Gear Solid 4's graphics are a bit overrated to me as well. It winning over Crysis Warhead is laughable.
Crysis Warhead didn't deserve to win since Crysis won in 2007. Now then I agree the underground caves in Gears 2 were jawdropping ... the Shadow Moses was jaw dropping in a different way with the flashbacks. :P
You better not be refering to me. No one with eyes can deny Gears 2 technical graphics over MGS4
The environments and water in Gears 2 are just so much better. There is so much more detail packed into them. I'd only give MGS4 the edge in character models.
