Laura bailey and the accessibility awards are well deserved, but best narrative? If you showed other story tellers in other mediums (cinema/tv) and told them the last of us part 2 is the pinnacle of story telling they would straight up laugh at us and tell us that this is the reason video games will nerve be art. Its a depraved exercise of misery porn and nihilistic sadism lacking any subtly or nuance, pulverizing players violently over the head with its themes . LOL if this is the best we can do just LOL
I love Cdproject and the witcher games but this game is straight up trash on ps4 , they should never have even released it on last gen consoles. It plays like a ps3 game

She didn't play the game, in the video discussion she states she used the starter pistol and never got a new gun or upgraded it, she hardly did any side quests, and complained that their was superfluous content ...In an open world game.I seriously think she was the wrong person for this review, she seems to not understand open world rpg's nor is she interested in learning about them.
The critique on the buggy mess the game was is solid though they should have delayed this game
@minder01: I think its some of her criticisms For example she is complaining that an open world game has too much stuff to do. If you watch the video discussion GS YouTube channel she goes on about how she ignored the side missions, didn't craft , didn't upgrade her weapons (she used the starting off pistol) which is all bizarre to me because its an open world RPG all that stuff is the meat and potatoes of games like this. Its like reviewing a competitive shooter and complaining that it has competitive online matches.

@trer24: I agree with taking points off for technical issues ,thats a solid critique. But complaining about things that a inherently a part of open world games ( things to do that are superfluous) and her stating she didn't like the game introducing RPG elements in an RPG is just WTF.
There's so much to do that isn't meaningful, so a lot of it ends up feeling superfluous
Superficial and often "edgy" aesthetic choices often have no real purpose, which makes them grating rather than adding anything relevant to the world
These two points are kind of confusing, the first one is something inherent in all open world games from GTA V, Red Dead, Far Cry etc not sure why you are choosing this game to take points off
The second one is strange because the last of us had sooo many edgy choices ( beating someone to death violently and brutally with a golf club in front of their loved one is the definition of edgy to the max) and you did not seem to mind.
