[QUOTE="Riverwolf007"]"Where there is no bad, there can be no good"you guys are too picky to be a decent judge of gaming.
i have literally played hundreds of games this gen that i thought were good.
my best of list would probably be over a hundred games.

Sorry, but Halo 3 definitely makes the top 10 list. Still unmatched when it comes to content. I mostly agree, although I'd swap out Mass effect 2 for either 1 or 3. Oblivion instead of Skyrim. COD4:MW deserved to be there more than the likes of Portal 2.RR360DDIn what way does it make top10? It was hardly top 5 of 2007, let alone top 10 of the gen. At the end of the day its another multiplayer shooter with a terrible story/short campaign. Firstly i think I could have easily put any of the halos in the honorable mentions list, i simply chose halo reach because i find its the best one. Halo 3 and hlao 4 are both great games i think, however Halo Reach was Bungie's swan song. Also i think Riverwolf makes a valid point though. Gamers who comment in forums and youtube, specifically the ones here in system wars, are critical to a fault. While its okay to believe that oblivion, for example, is better than skyrim, to call skyrim an abomination is just crazy. And thats not about opinions differing, its about recognizing that the majority of the gaming community finds that skyrim is a masterpiece. Even if you dont personally like it, a reasonable mind should consider that perhaps critics and the community think its a masterpiece for a reason. As an example, i HATE dark souls, i hate cod mw, and i personally like me3 and uncharted 3 more than me2 and uncharted 2. But motice that on my list i didnt go based on what i would have wanted, i went by what the majority consider to be the frontrunners of this gaming generation. Maybe i should have picked a different halo or mario, but otherwise these are the games that had the largest impact on the gaming community and on the critics.
