Why can't I practice on this track? Everything else is listed... or am I just blindly overlooking it EVERY time???

It's a solid game, but most of its value lies in the nostalgia factor. If you haven't played any of the other MGS games before, then you might not appreciate this one. I grew up on the MGS games so this was a must buy for me. I enjoyed it very much and even beat it a couple of times over just to get the usual "treats" at the end like the infinite ammo bandana and camo gear. The convoluted story can deter most people, but if you liked the other MGS games, you'll love this one.

TVersity works best for me. Super easy to use and i've never had connectivity issues.

the true test of loading time differences seems to be when you're loading a track just before a race. i signed out of the PS network and those GT logo screens loaded in about 5-10 seconds instead of 1.5 - 2 minutes. I guess it really was just due to overloaded servers.

that makes sense that if it's trying to update data to the servers... like going to the grocery stores right now for your turkey day shopping. =o)

well, even though that sucks for both of us, it's a relief to know i'm not the only one with this "issue". all in all, it's not too bad of a game.

on average, how long does yours take to load just going from let's say the premium dealerships back to the home screen? if i wait long enough, it will go back there, but it takes roughly 1.5 to 2 minutes. Which in the grand scheme of things isn't a HUGE deal, but dang, it's gonna add up. I heard about the long load times but with an 8 gig install, i figured that would help.

yeah, over 200 gigs left. i think that's plenty. it's weird... wonder if it's a bum copy.
