I've asked myself the same question therefore I've played Crisis Core. For a PSP game, the graphics are really good, the gameplay is also interesting, but... My major problem was the storyline. I understood the main ideea of THIS game, but that wasn't enough to make me understand the FF series main ideea. But u can give it a try... u might like it.
