I still use a Alienware alpha. Its not my main PC but it plays everything i own. Just finished off both Space Marine Deathwing and Dark Souls 3 on it and this is the base model with a cheap ram upgrade. My daughters are using it right now playing through the new Walking Dead Telltale game. Seriously ive yet to find a single game that doesn't run on it.
@phili878: You're not really qualified to even have an opinion imo. FFS at the very least try the game out during a free weekend before you crap on it.
It received great review scores. It will sell well.
Will it sell 10 million? maybe after a year. Also if they put it on PC in a few months they will probably sell another 1-2 million. Those PC guys like open world games.
What do do when a ports bad and you dont want to refund or wait a few weeks for fixes.
1. Download Rivatuner
2. Lock the game to 30fps with rivatuner
3. play and beat game at what is essentially console standard.
4. Uninstall game and move on.
I would also advise people to use a controller if they play at 30fps imo it doesnt feel as sluggish with analog sticks. with a mouse you can really feel that poor framerate.
@howthegodzkill: The PS4 pro is crap man. worse performance than PS4 and fake 4k. Seriously... why bother if every game is still going to be 30fps? Same with Scorpio... sure its first part games with be native 4k but the rest wont and they will all still be 30 fps. I would rather play at 1080p 60fps on PC than fake 4k at 30fps with reduced graphics settings and poor frame timings on console.
@R4gn4r0k: No one talks about frame drops on consoles because you cant do anything about them. On PC no matter how poor the port we have ways to get games working at the very least a playable state.
