I've done it once or twice, not counting aesthetic purchases. Non aesthetic buys are much less tempting to me.

Not sure if disappointed, or cautiously optimistic...

@Tsuchikage

You should know depression when it hits. For myself, it's like I'm...empty. I'm not particularly sad, or angry, or even withdrawn. It's close to the feeling of being withdrawn, but, it's not actually that. It's as if your feelings are in stasis, my life is moving without motion, and you can see what you should do but either can't or wont reach for the straw. Or simply put, I feel absolutely...nothing. It's like being trapped in a purgatory made up from your own definition.

Of course, that's what my depression is like. I'm not saying that's what everyone feels.

"Do you play games because you are depressed, or are you depressed because you play games" Furthest spectrum or not, that's a question that hit close to home with me.

Even with a job, friends, family, and generally what is considered a life, I still find myself on that very same line, and it's such a tip toe topic for me because there is no definite yes to either. The human brain is mystery no-one will be able to completely figure out.

I'm sure Ubi's online drm on steam can back up this statement. I mean, surely they wouldn't be so stupid, as to go against proof from their own methods, right? Therefore, they know what they're talking about, and totally, like 100%, aren't spoonfeeding consumers bullshit.

I mean, I'd love the idea of helplessly dealing with server issues, maintenance, & internet connection loss. Oh, and who takes their gadgets to areas with no internet nowadays. Gosh, I'm super stoked.

I really hope the story behind them is fleshed out. Particularly, the runners. It'll be quite a missed opportunity to let that slip by in many ways, but I have faith that they'll have justice done for them. Both story & gameplay wise. Interesting read.

Why does this come off as a national geographic episode for gamers...
