@foxfacer2d2 So, because 3 games that are stuck in development hell, completely unrelated to the Sony and PS3, didn't get released, you consider the PS3 a disappointment? You can't be disappointed in a console because certain games didn't come out yet. Blame the companies making the games, not the hardware you play it on. Your argument is thin.
@ristactionjakso It's linear, but has a few moments where you can explore the area and take in the scenery. You know, breathers from intense fights. You can map out your own controller setup with some of the presets in the options menu. The game itself is around 14-16 hours to complete, depending on how much you explore and your skill level. No, you don't need to play either of the previous BioShocks in order to understand this one.
@Shiftfallout But the game that's used was once bought new, which means that the Publisher/Developer already got the full price of the game to begin with. Fighting used games is more of a greedy tactic than these retailers selling used games at even less of a profit margin than a Publisher selling a new game.
@crazyintheface The Let's Play community on YouTube is why this is a good idea. Have you seen how huge they've gotten over the past couple of years? People enjoy that kind of thing.
@QuixWare Uhm, Dishonored took influence from the original BioShock, and this is technically a spiritual sequel to that game. Do your research before you say things, dude.
@Darth_Kane He's trying to make the games play out like a film as well, so it makes sense to have heightened graphics for the sake of showing more emotion, since film plays off the emotional response of the actors, and games play off the emotional response of the actions. Cage wants to put those two together, and with better graphics and animation capabilities, the impact is just that much better. At least to me.
