@PS2fweak: it's the only reason that I and anyone that I know who is interested in the S is looking at it. The unconfirmed audio issue is also the only reason none of us have made a decision.

He's pretty bang on imo.

@P00DGE: I loved the original Dumbledore in the movies but Michael Gambons Dumbledore stole something from the movies for me, his Dumbledore seemed more vindictive and cruel instead of the intelligent, well meaning Dumbledore portrayed originally.

That is probably just me though.

@P00DGE: in reality the treatment that Harry received rarely makes for a good, kind hearted person.

Slavery and bullying more often makes for a resentful person that is looking for a way to get revenge on the people that were cruel and revenge on the world for not helping regardless of how knowledgeable the world is of the hurt being caused.

@marctheheretic: that's a really good idea, a cartoon or comic showing the world before Harry Potter would be really interesting for me and I'm 34 lol

As old as I am, I love the Universe.

Something makes me suspect that JKR didn't create everything herself and at times I get the feeling that someone else wrote parts of the Potter books (the quality of writing and the writing style changes within some of the later books) but I still get a lot of joy in reading the books to my kids.

I sort of worked this out for my self but my supposition had an extra element: I supposed that the hatred of Petunia and Vernon was because they understood that Harry's wizard parents died at the hands of an extremely powerful evil wizard and they realised the danger that taking Harry in posed to their family, however, their obligation was strong enough to force their hand (and some 'threats' from Dumbledore) into accepting Harry to their home.

@RoachRush: Pokemon Go got my lazy son to leave the house so it gets a thumbs up from me.

@mboettcher: GRAW was my favourite franchise but Ubisoft even managed to kill that.
