So kinect needs an adapter, I assume that the adapter will convert the plug to a USB? If so that's a shitty move as I use all of my USB ports on my xb1.
For anyone struggling with background music on Groove, you need to delete the app and re-install the new app. The old app has a blue icon where as the new one had a greenish background, you need the greenish one.

It looks like they weren't listening. Every request I saw on the feedback/request part of xbox.com said "background music like we had on xb360" but what we've got isn't anything like it, it'seems a terrible attempt but it's even worse for people outside of the USA.
This feature, the summer update in general and it's quality were the things I would use to decide on whether I want the Xb1 s... I don't think I even care about the Scorpio now, Microsoft are clearly trying to remove options so that users are locked into their eco-system, I'm not into that.
My little brother is 20 and owns more cd's than me. His girlfriend is 22, she is a dj, she buys cd's and then rips them to flash drives for her work, she has well over a 1000 cd's.
A bloke I used to workwith who is 19, he bought a cd's just yesterday.
Other than my son, these are the first people that replied on Facebook when I asked if young people still buy cd's.
I was curious to know if you were right or wrong, I think it's safe that you're wrong mate.
@IanNottinghamX: I've had a totally different experience with Microsoft customer service as long as it isn't phone based.
I managed to get 5 faulty xb360's in my search for my first xb360 that worked correctly and they swapped every one of them no questions asked and with very little hassle to me.
I would end up having 11 faulty consoles, turns out that my local store was sent an entire pallet of faulty consoles lol. Microsoft ended up refunding my money so that I could go to a different store after they tested my returned consoles and found that I wasn't damaging my consoles through mistreatment or negligence.
I had a faulty xbox 1, the disc drive went. Because I am on the preview program they sent me a new console and the turn around was only 5 days.
