Yes, but you can follow trends because you want to, but in some cases people may follow trends to make themselves feel cooler, or in some cases people want to feel unique and go against the grind. For instance a few years back a bunch of ppl I know started wearing random metal shirts and skinny jeans, not one of them liked metal, they just felt like they were being cool so they followed that trend.

Agreed, there is many professional buisnessman Ive seen with long hair, Buzzcuts dont look good on everyone and in some cases in buisness it would be more important to look good than just stupid
