Only good Japanese car is a totaled Japanese car. People complain about the economy while driving their Toyatos. Insane.

Care to explain how those 2 things relate to each other? Are you trying to say that people buying foreign cars has seriously damaged the US economy? People buy what works, and the Japanese have consistently made better-engineered, better-built, more reliable cars for the past 25+ years. Over the past few years, GM and Ford have made a bit of a comeback in terms of quality, but it's too early to say how well their cars will hold up in the long-run. Toyota, Honda, and Nissan all make cars that routinely hold together for over 150,000 miles, and sometimes well over 200,000. If America made better cars, they'd sell more.
I second this statement. I think of it this way i drive a 94 camry toyota and it has 199,230 miles on it has lasted way over the value worth of what the first person bought it for. Plus i spend half the amount of money in gas compared to a guy that drives a gaint ford truck. I have that much more money to spend and put back in the economy. Plus some toyota parts are made in the USA so it not all that bad.
