Thank God for Sakurai.

Garbage characters like Goku should never be in Smash, not only because Smash is a videogame love letter, but because Goku is probably the most boring Anime character out there.

Couldn't be more hyped for the remaining of the DLC's ... i really want characters like Dante or Lloyd Irving in the game, however, the most interesting aspect of all ... i really, really want to see someone else from MS and even Sony ... can you imagine Kratos and Master Chief in the game ... i have no doubt Sakurai is actually trying to get those characters.

Regardless, i feel the current choices have been fantastic and i can't wait for my favorite figthing game character is finally added, going to main the heck out of Terry like i always do.

When the game releases to critical acclaim, proving all the naysayers wrong,

MGS4 released to critical acclaim.

Most people consider it a garbage heap.

Kojima ran out of time making it perfect. Oh well, maybe he'll get it right this time around?

That seems to be a trend as of late, Kojima ran out of time ... Kind of looks like he doesn't know how to handle a project.

Anyway ... i'm with most people on this game. Have no idea why should i be hyped for this title. Yes, is Kojima, i guy who makes good games with glaring flaws or just stupid "jokes".

Looks Ok i guess, but i still don't see the appeal.

Not saying is going to be bad, just saying we don't know why should we be hyped, and from the looks of it, it looks like a boring game.

Definitely a big issue ... thankfully i mostly use Pro Controller and Gamecube ones. Mines are still working fine. Hopefully it won't be an issue as time goes by.

I actually can't stand them ... i have tried a few of them (including WoW) and every single time i get either extremely bored, annoyed or a combination of both ... so i always keep my distance when it comes to MMOs (including other forms of heavy multiplayer games like Destiny, etc.)

I wasn't aware I was supposed to provide a proper definition. As I have stated earlier, its in the word's own meaning

Yes ... if you are pretending that "Hardcore Gamer" has any meaning ... you should have provided a proper definition ... then again there isn't one ... so. Also ... is not in the word's own meaning, doesn't matter how many times you repeat it, the words are not fictional, the term is fictional. You are either a gamer or not ... period.

Anyway ... i'm not feeling like discussing this subject anymore, specially with someone who failed at demostrating that this fictional title has a proper meaning (this has happened way too many times in this forum, nobody agrees on one definition), so if you feel happy with calling yourself a "hardcore gamer" in order to justify a simple hobby or to even feel entitled above people who don't play as much ... suit yourself, personally i'm way more happy with being a gamer.

I heavily disagree ... a hardcore gamer is an invalid classification since there is no requirement to be one, you could open a debate about who is a hardcore gamer and you will NOT have a solid answer ... hell, there is people who believes that if you play Nintendo games you are not a Hardcore.

So yeah, fictional title doesn't mean a thing, you are either a gamer or not. (Most casual gamers would not even classify as a gamers in the first place).

The requirement is built-in with the actual meaning of the word as in someone who is dedicated to playing games. Its a classification of gamers who play or spend more hours gaming per week than the average gamer. Its simply a time spent playing game classification. Its not a title as you deviated to in your second paragraph. So, whether you want to accept it or not doesn't make the classification fictional. The gaming industry design their games with an understanding of hardcore gamers and casual gamers in mind. To pretend as if this classification is non existent is to believe all games are made with no consideration for the demographic of gamers to which hardcore is one of them.

Completely wrong, you even failed at providing a proper definition ... i mean, at how many hours a week i'm classified as a "hardcore" gamer ??? do i lose the "title" if i suddenly start to game less? Am i a casual gamer if a play Dark Souls ... yet i only play it a few hours a week but i have finished it several times with different builds? am i a Hardcore gamer if i spent hours after hours only in NBA2k19?

Yes, companies make the games in consideration of Gamers because there are actually a huge variety in tastes, this is what companies care the most, if people is willing to buy the games they make, they don't care if someone is willing to play 6 hours ("Casual Gamer") or go 100% Platinum with the new God of War ("Hardcore Gamer").

In other words ... they don't care about fictional titles.

I saw this on their features list "Three different boss battles!" ... this is all you need to know about this poor attempt to bring back a mediocre character, this should stay dead.

I feel sad for anyone who consider himself a "Hardcore gamer".

But most on this forum would be hardcore gamers. Hardcore gamer is not an invalid classification of people. There are hardcore folks in all sorts of entertainment and hobbies. Being hardcore doesn't make someone better or worse.

I prefer RE4 over any Max Payne game.
