Taking control of your dreams is easy when you identify the markers. The simple ones already been stated such as trying to read something or looking at a reflection. Some of the ones that are more difficult that I've found are trying to keep your eyes closed (this is impossible in a dream state because it is a stream of consciousness). Another one is to pay attention to how you arrived at a particular place. Most likely you won't be able to remember. This is an indicator. Once you realize you are dreaming, you can take control. I have been able to fly, change location, spawn weapons etc. And there is always the X-rated stuff. Fun times.

I have three man caves. One is my living room. It's not a cave per se, but I spend a majority of my time there. It has a 65" 1080p LCD, 1200 watt surround sound, bluray, directv, wii, modded xbox, kegerator, jager tap machine, beer fridge and massage chair. Second is my office. It has my main computer with twin 23" monitors, 1000 watt surround sound, bluray, directv, sword collection, and video game swag. The third is my basement. It has a 73" 1080p DLP, 1200 watt surround sound, bluray, directv, professional dart lane, full kitchen and dedicated beer fridge.
