@nu1mlock @katanakillbill It's not a review. They already did a review. This is more or less a comedy sketch based on the comments people like us make.

@BloodyAura Haha, completely agree. People who are ok with buying a game that doesn't work are truly stupid. On the other hand, they are exactly the type of customer EA is looking for because who else would buy their broken games?

@DawgByte2 @casshern09 Or maybe Gamespot writers have a better eye for games than IGN writers? That's why I read Gamespot because frankly, I feel like a lot of other critics sugar coat their reviews for fear of losing the support they need from the publishers.

People are hating on this game in particular because it's a franchise that they love and they feel that EA/Maxis has let them down. From the DRM, to the inability to access servers, the lacking of an offline mode even for solo play, the small cities and the bugs, I think they have every right to feel disappointed. You sound like someone who loves Sim City so much that they desperately want this game to be amazing and are simply overlooking its faults due to an emotional attachment.

Sure they might improve the game. They might make incredible. Does that make what's happened here ok? For you, yes. For me, no. I don't think its ok to release a game that is basically broken and use your customers money to fund a beta test, which is basically what's happening. I don't like that gaming companies are starting to think that this kind of behavior is ok with gamers.

If I bought a TV that only worked on and off, I'd be upset, but by your logic, you'd be ok with it and just wait until the company fixed it. You are basically telling the company, "It's ok, you sold me an incomplete product. I'm fine with that, take however much time you need to fix it." Consumers deserve better than that, especially at $59.99 and a requirement for 24/7 online access.

@zaireskillz @Nodashi @lorenzoa88 Is that your philosophy for every product you buy? Buy something day 1, doesn't work, wait for the product to get repaired or upgraded and do something else in the meantime?

@zaireskillz @tesfurdo I don't think League of Legends is quite as complicated as running a series of cities. More to the point, there should be an offline single player mode because a lot of people have no interest in playing a game like this socially.

@juteboxjr Seriously? They are basically having their beta test right now. YOU paid $60 to be a beta tester and you're ok with that? It is NOT ok to release broken games. Furthermore, people don't want online all the time and they also want huge cities, which you can't have in this version of Sim City. This review is generous. I would have given it a 3.

@zaireskillz It deserved less than a 5. What's with gamers becoming ok with games getting released that are broken?

@Zhern Gamespot has an article that says you can't get a refund if you downloaded it from Origin, but if you bought it physically or through another retailer, you should be able to,
